Sullivan reached up to 94 mph for his max EV with a max distance of 326’, staying on the sweet spot 80% of the time per TrackMan. He showed well on the infield, too; boasting fluid and active footwork both pre-pitch and through the baseball, soft hands with confident actions, clear feel for the position. MIF Merrick Sullivan (Benet, 2025) really looked the part at the plate this past weekend. The right-handed hitter has some pre-pitch rhythm in his hands, working into a short toe-tap load before firing through the zone with a loose and flat path, staying through the zone a long time with a hitterish presence in the box. Quality defender up the middle with steady hands and some range to both sides of his glove. A name to follow heading into the spring season.
