An Indiana recruit, Wiggins seems to enjoy his time at LakePoint, having put up big performances across various events the last three summers. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder started his week at the NPI ProCase, where he easily blasted balls out of the yard to center and right field, showing a heavy barrel and tremendous strength at impact. He’s no 5 o’clock hitter, translating that offensive potential to game play. He went 5-for-10 with two doubles, a triple, four RBIs and four runs scored. He has a knack for finding the barrel and keeps it in the zone a long time, allowing him to drive the ball from line to line. Wiggins is a legitimate two-way prospects to boot, and tossed two innings on the final day, allowing one hit and striking out three. He pitched at 88-91 with downhill plane on the fastball at times and flashed downer break to a 79-81 curveball.

OF Andrew Wiggins (Heritage Christian HS, IN) continues to improve and is only going to become a bigger impact at the plate. Physical and strong at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, he just began lifting weights. He shows the ability to stay balanced at the plate and put a charge into the ball from the left side. As he continues to add strength and incorporate his lower half more, the exit velocities will only get louder.

Wiggins stands at 6-foot-3, 197 pounds, boasting an advanced and athletic frame with the body control to go along with it. He showcased the talent on the mound with feel for multiple pitches, using a high leg kick and driving from the backside extending through the catcher. The arm action is quick and loose, as the fastball was up to 86 mph and he commanded a big breaking ball adequately at 67-69. He also has a strong left-handed bat and drives the ball with authority with the flick of his wrists. As he learns to incorporate his lower half more, he’ll tap into some big power.

MW JR. FALL CHAMPIONSHIP: Wiggins has emerged as one of the top two-way talents in the Midwest and he sparked the Indiana Bulls Black 15U squad from the top of the order on Saturday. He swings a loud and fast left-handed bat and he uses his advanced footspeed to get around the basepaths with relative ease – he made easy work of an inside-the-park homer or triple and an error, depending how you scored it. He makes it look easy in the batter’s box and he’s tooled-up – oh, and he’s also a strong 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Wiggins towers over his peers, figuratively and physically, and looks to be a national follow inside this freshman class.

INDIANA STATE GAMES: Advanced, strong athletic body stands 6-foot-2, 185 pounds. Center field currently but may move to a corner outfield spot. In the field shows some range with easy movement. Arm is a low ¾ that produces some unwanted tail on throws to the infield. Ball has some carry for the age. At the plate is where he produces. From the left hand batters box has explosive bat speed with current pull side power. Power potential is very much there. Very high follow in the 2023 class.
