2/24/18 - Ryan is a 6-foot-1 200-pound left-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2019 class.  He ran a 4.38 home to first and has an 82 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts slightly open with some pre-pitch rhythm in hands, minimal load, in line stride, has feel for barrel, level bat plane with accelerated hands, consistent middle to pull side line drives during hitting evals.  On the infield, 79 mph positional velocity, over the top arm slot, works behind the ball, keeps momentum through the catch with one shuffle and release, smooth glove to hand transfer on time with footwork, accurate thrower, throws have carry. On the mound, Ryan comes from a over the top arm slot, raises knee to hip with slight rotation, simple and compact delivery, works slightly across body, hides ball until release, arm works, throws with regular effort, fastball at 80-82 mph, throws on a downhill plane, curveball at 66-69 mph, 12-to-6 shape, straight change up at 70-72 mph, throws with fastball arm speed, showed command of all pitches with high percentage of strikes.

6/20/17 - Ryan is a 6-foot-1 200-pound left-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2019 class. He ran a 4.69 home to first and a a 7.45 60.  He has an 84 mph exit velocity. At the plate, thin and open stance, leg kick, slightly closed stride, aggressive to the pull gap flashing power, consistent hard contact during hitting evaluations.  On the infield, 78 mph positional velo, active footwork to the ball creating momentum to throw, soft hands, quick transfer, fields ball in athletic position, high three quarters release, throws are accurate and have carry. On the mound, Ryan throws with regular effort, over the top release, controlled leg lift, slight coil at balance point, accelerates down the mound, fastball was 80-82 mph, curveball has 12-to-6 action, down in zone, some with late break, 66.68 mph, throws both pitches for a strike, repeats delivery,

2/17/17 - Ryan is a 6-foot-1 210-pound left-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2019 class.  He ran a 4.27 home to first and has an 85 mph exit velo. On the infield, open stance, controlled leg lift, short stride, quick hands with middle to pull side power, level path through the hitting zone.  On the infield, 76 mph infield velo, over the top release, with feet gaining ground to 1B after the catch, fluid footwork to the ball, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, Ryan has an over the top release point, throws with some effort, repeats delivery with some deception,  fastball at 78-81 mph, some with downhill tilt, breaking ball has 12-to-6 shape, gradual break, down, showed feel for a change up, 70-71 mph, straight.
