Cru Huenfeld: 1B/LHP, (2025) N/A, KS. 6-foot, 190-pound mature frame. In the box, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Begins in an athletic stance with a low load, then uses a controlled stride just before his swing. Bat speed was explosive, displayed rotational swing plane and a back foot finish. Had loud contact and found lots of barrels. Gap to gap approach. Above average in the infield, his best throw was registered at 73 mph; has soft hands, a clean exchange and rhythmic feet. From a high ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a loose arm action. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.75. Projectable on the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with good arm speed. Feel type pitcher and uses easy effort. Tall balance point with even shoulders. Lands soft with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 77-78 mph; had running action and some command. His changeup (65-66) has plus action and control. Shows a 12/6 curveball (58-59) with some action.
