Williams is a strong and athletic 6-foot, 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 6.94 second 60, which was the second highest at the event, and posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. During hitting evaluations, Williams starts in an athletic stance, leg lift into load position, shorter and in line stride, showed feel for the barrel, quick hands, flat bat path, hard pull side contact during round, during game action he hit a homerun to left center field. Defensively, Williams shows smooth actions in the outfield, fluid footwork, clean transfers, strong arm with carry to the baseball, over the top release, positional velo of 83 mph, mostly accurate throws.

6/5/18 - Williams is a 6-foot 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 6.90 60 and a 4.32 home to first.  He has an 87 mph exit velocity. At the plate, has the ability to hit to all field, pre swing rhythm in hands, controlled weight shift and leg lift to load, loose hands with feel for the barrel, level path through the zone, gap to gap approach.  In the outfield, 79 mph positional velocity, works behind the ball, high three quarters arm slot, clean exchange, accurate throws, some with carry. On the mound, high three quarters arm slot, body stays under control, smooth rhythm and temp, throws with regular effort, in line stride, fastball at 68-72 mph, works to both sides of the plate.

2/16/18 - Williams is a 6-foot 165-pound right handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class.  He ran a 4.53 home to first and has a 79 mph exit velocity. At the plate, athletic and slightly open in set up, minimal hand movement during load, smooth lower half load with controlled leg lift, in line stride, hands control the barrel, level path with gap to gap line drives.  In the outfield, 79 mph positional velocity, fluid actions, feet work with hands on exchange, quick exchange, over the top release, works through the ball with momentum.
