Kansas Underclass Games: Outfield Analysis

Prep Baseball Report Kansas held the Kansas Underclass Games on June 4 at the in Wichita, Kansas. Over 70 players from the region attended in the 2022 and 2021 class.
Player profiles have been updated with running times and velocities along with a video of their performance.

Scott Adams OF / Maize High School, KS / 2021Adams is an athletic and physical 5-foot-11, 185-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class. At the event he ran a 7.30 second 60 and posted an exit velocity of 84 mph. During batting practice, Adams starts in an athletic stance, simple load, some rhythm with hands, flat bat path, remains balanced throughout swing, showed pop to left field during round. In the outfield, Adams has good actions, fluid footwork, long arm with carry to the baseball, high three-quarter release, accurate throws, positional velo of 81 mph. |
Dayne Aschenbrenner OF / C / Manhattan, KS / 2021Aschenbrenner is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound switch hitting outfielder in Kansas’ 2021 class.
