Another standout two-way performance came from OF/RHP Luke Hanahan (Blue Valley Southwest, 2026). The uncommitted junior got the day started by showing off his athleticism, running a 6.92 60 and posting a 32.1” vertical jump. An impact left-handed bat, Hanahan put together one of the most complete rounds of BP on the day, showing advanced bat speed and lining balls for gap to gap with an effortless stroke. He averaged 88.7 mph and 303 feet per batted ball, barreling his best ball of the day 362 feet at 94.4 mph. The 6-foot, 165-pound athlete also fired a 88 mph mark from the outfield for good measure. That arm strength carried over to the mound where Hanahan pounded the zone with a 84-86 mph fastball (T87.3 mph) and mixed in a 2,400+ RPM slider at 72-73 mph and low spin changeup at 79-81 mph.
