6-foot-3, 180-pound frame that oozes projection and future physicality. Long swing with barrel lag through the zone from the right side, intent to elevate the baseball. Should grow into more pull-side power as he physically matures. Sure-handed on the infield, glove works out front. Upside athlete that’s ranked inside the top-15 in the Kansas’ 2024 class.

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-3, 180-pounds. Projectable and lean build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Delivery: Short and simple footwork around the rubber working to an easy pivot foot. Smooth pace and tempo to the delivery. Works to a high balance point with slight crouch in the posture. Tall and fall style motion down the mound with good extension into a firm plant leg.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot with a shorter arm action.
FB: T81.5, 77-81 mph. Heavy arm side running action with some sink to the bottom of the zone. T2342, 2070 average rpm.
SL: 70-71 mph. Tight cutting shape with some downward depth and strong spin. T2416, 2296 average rpm.
CH: 74-75 mph. Heavy arm side fading action with fastball hand speed and strong sell. T1714, 1684 average rpm.

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP
Body: 6-3, 180-pounds. Projectable and lean build with room for added strength and size in the future.
Hits: RHH. Slightly open stance with an upright posture. Hands work above the shoulder with a high back elbow. Knee knock leg lift stride with strong weight stack onto the back leg. Hands work linearly through the zone with an uphill path. Slight lean back in the posture at contact. Attacks the ball out in front of the plate with heavy linear direction with the lower half.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 78.9 MPH. 298' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-76 mph.3/4 arm slot with a clean and loose arm action.
Defense: Attacks the ball with active feet and feel for routes working around the ball. Fields the ball out in front of the body with soft hands and a feel for glove action. Shows sotrong lateral range and ability to field the ball on the run.
Run: 7.46 runner in the 60.

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP

Body: Athletic, physically advanced 6-foot-2, 175-pound frame with present strength.

Hit: RHH. At the plate starts in an open, crouched stance with a high handset. Easy leg kick load with rhythm into medium stride. Feel for the barrel, uphill swing plane looking to elevate. Gap to gap approach with above average hand speed.

Power: 85 mph exit velocity off the tee and 88 mph exit velocity in BP.

Arm: RH. INF - 78 mph. Quick high-¾ arm action with accuracy and some carry.

Defense: In the infield, shows solid actions with quick footwork with soft hands and clean exchanges. Shows decent lateral range to both sides.

Run: 7.90 runner in the 60.

Delivery: On the mound uses a repeatable rocker-step delivery. Projectable arm. Medium balance point, lands square to home with athletic finish.

Arm Action: RH. Long to short high-¾ arm action.

FB: 78-80 mph, straight action for strikes.

SL: 69-70 mph, small 10/4 break with tight spin.

CB: 71 mph, 11/5 break for strikes.

CH: 71 mph, late fade action.

Noah McCombs: 3B/RHP, (2024) Olathe South, KS. 6-foot-2, 162-pound sturdy frame. During batting practice, Mccombs had an exit velocity of 80 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a leg kick to start his swing. Had short swing plane, above average bat speed and high finish. Found multiple barrels with some loud contact. Pull side approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 75 mph; has a clean exchange, developing feet and firm hands. Used a ¾ slot and a short arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.84. Projectable on the mound, showing good arm speed he had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Slow-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Balance point is tall with even shoulders during delivery. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 72-73 mph; has control, keeps its plane. He shows tight action on his slider (58-63). He had some action on his changeup (69-70).
