Grant Madrid: SS/RHP, (2025) Staley, MO. 5-foot-6, 115-pound slim frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 73 mph. Started in a tall stance with a low load, then used a leg kick to start his swing. Bat speed is average, displays upward swing plane and high finish. He Barreled up some balls throughout his round. Line drive approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 68 mph; shows firm hands, a lengthy exchange and developing feet. Some accuracy to the bases, used a ¾ slot and a short arm action. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.75. Projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action while showing good arm speed. Feel type pitcher and uses some effort. Has consistent balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. Sat with his fastball at 66-67 mph; showed control. His curveball (58-59) showed some action. His changeup (62-63) shows slight action.
