LHP Johnny Carver (Ray-Pec; Arkansas commit) continued to show why he is one of the top arms in Missouri’s 2026 class. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound sophomore was consistently between 85-86 mph with his fastball, showing natural run at times. Additionally, Carver threw a changeup at 77-78 with fade, flashing feel for the zone.
7/11/22

Lean, upside 6-foot, 160-pound athlete. Took the mound on Thursday for Prime 27:17 and turned in a quality outing. Clean delivery with tempo, some effort downhill at times. Arm worked from a loose ¾ slot, pitched in the high-70s with his fastball and peaked at 82 mph. Mixed in an upper-60s slider with some sweep from that aforementioned arm angle. An intriguing arm to know in Missouri’s 2026 class.
