North Carolina State commit. Slender, athletic frame at 6 foot, 160-pounds. Smooth, fluid delivery with little effort. Leg lift works to the bottom of the chest, lands slightly closed. Hight front side after break creating some deception. Long arm action, throwing from a high ¾ slot, getting good extension out front. Arm is quick. Consistently got his fastball to the bottom of the zone with some down angle at 86-90 mph. Curveball has sharp, late 11/5 break at 71-74 mph. Flashed a changeup at 76-77 mph. Filled the zone up with all three pitches. Should have more in the tank as he adds strength.
09.25.18
North Carolina State commit. Lanky and high waisted at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds. Frame will handle strength additions. Fastball ranged 85-89 from hand speed with above average hand speed. Some cut to the fastball to glove side as the hips fight through some stiffness. Long arm swing gets to a high-3/4 slot. Loose, there is a slight body wrap out of the glove with the arm but the arm maintains whip. Breaking ball is soft with gradual action at 69-72.
03.27.17 Velocity beginning to jump from the lanky right-hander. Easy motion and clean arm swing. Fastball ramped up to 85. Flashed a downer breaking ball that is firmer than this past summer.
08.23.16 Lanky and athletic, the 6-foot, 160 pound RHP/OF has a chance to develop into a dual player. An over-the-top slot and long arm swing worked to 74-77 with the fastball. The slider is 63-64 with some late tilt, while the curveball, ranging 58-60 is a gradual downer from a slower arm speed. The change is a distant 4th pitch, working 59-61 with a stiff wrist and pushing it through the release point. From the outfield, the slot relaxed to a high-3/4 slot and touched 85mph with average carry. Offensively, Ingle works from a tall stance and short stride to produce barrels to all fields. There is a little loop coming out of the vertical bat. The exit velocity topped at 73mph.
