Solid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 74 mph; showed a natural exchange, consistent feet, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Used a high slot with a quick arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 7.5 at the event. On the mound, had a loose arm action and a high arm angle with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 76-77 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2129; Avg 2063). Has slurvey action on his 11/5 curveball (61-63). (Max spin 1654; Avg 1459). His changeup (70-72) showed slight action.

Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 74 mph; shows a natural exchange, consistent hands, and quick feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a high slot with a quick arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.56. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he had a high arm angle with a loose arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Sat with his fastball at 76-78 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2254; Avg 2233). His 11/5 curveball (59-62) showed slurvey action. (Max spin 1859; Avg 1694).

Started in an athletic balanced stance with a quick controlled load, then used a short stride. Has quick bat speed, level rotational swing plane and level finish. He found some barrels during his rounds. Line drive approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 76 mph. Solid from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 75 mph; has a natural packing exchange, consistent feet, and soft hands. When fielding he gathers the ball to the side. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.6. 

Conner Peer: 1B/OF, (2023) Dublin Scioto, OH. 6-foot-2, 186-pound athletic physical frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Started in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a small leg kick. Had above average bat speed, level loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up multiple balls with loud contact. Up the middle approach. Solid while in the infield, made throws up to 74 mph; had athletic smooth footwork, a quick natural exchange, and sure hands. From the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 73 mph; had rhythmic footwork, a fluid exchange, and consistent hands. Glovework was used one hand. From a high slot, showed consistent accuracy to the base with a long arm action.

Hit: Very solid showing with the stick, athletic mover with a balanced launch, physical for class while also showcasing above average bat speed, ball jumps when squared, all fields/backspin abilities.
Power: 82 mph tee exit velocity, gap pop with more to come. 
Offensive Projection: Run Producer.
Field: Corner skills set, functionally athletic with respectable ball skills, could see him in the infield or outfield depending on how physical maturation takes its course.
Throw: Tossed it across the infield with 71 mph strength and registered a top velocity of 72 mph from the outfield.
Defensive Projection: Corner guy. 

2/17/20 Pitching
Delivery Notes: High- righty with good pace, efficient delivery, everything comes together well, should only trend upwards as he continues to develop.
Fastball: 68-72 mph, mostly true through the zone. 
Fastball Spin Rate: 1900-2100
Curveball: 59-60 mph, big shape, 11/5 plane, pops out of the hand.
Curveball Spin Rate: 1600-1800.
Changeup: 64-66 mph, near fastball arm speed, slight fading action.

Body Type: Physical, athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. athletic, fluid movements that create energy.
Hit: Aggressive swinger with juice off the barrel. Uses the entire field with the ability to lift the ball naturally. Showed some authority to pull side. Nice, level stroke.
Power: 82 mph exit velocity. Easy gap abilities with more to come.
Offensive Projection: Middle of lineup.
Run: 4.81 H-1st.
Field: Solid defender over at first base. Well coached/looks comfortable over there. Gets off the bag well and shows above average ball skills.
Throw: More than enough arm for the position.
Defensive Projection: 1B.

7/10/18
The 5-11. 172-pound pitcher with a solid pitchers build that is projectable with physical maturity. Works exclusively from the stretch with a delivery requiring regular effort. Directionally efficiently down the mound while landing with a soft plant leg. Will benefit from firm up that front side at foot strike allowing the hips open and unlock some undiscovered strength. Can expect an immediate velocity increase with this small adjustment. Arm works through a near sidearm slot. Fastball has good movement with run at 62-66 mph. Curveball is sweeping breaker with gradual break at 53-54 mph. Also mixed in a changeup at 58-60 mph. Two-way prospect. A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Fluid loading sequence highlighted by a leg kick. Path is slightly downhill with well above average speed to and strength to. Run producer type bat with easy gap juice now and signs of emerging power in there. At first base he moves with fluidity of the bag. Frame for the spot with feel for the position. Looked comfortable over there.

Like what I saw from Peer on both sides of the ball. Physical bat with a fluid, athletic load. Handsy hitter that generates easy barrel whip through the zone. Run producer type with a stroke that offers a bit more present strength than speed. Impressive jump off the barrel for class. At first base he shows the frame for the spot with above average ball skills and athleticism. Looks the part over there.

A right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced setup. Uses a leg kick load with lower half while keeping hands simple prior to launch. Path is slightly uphill with more strength than speed to hands presently, Ball comes off well when he finds the barrel. Ahead of the curve strength wise for class. Showed line drive abilities to pull side. At first base plays under control off the bag, flashing the ability to make plays on the move. Ball skills are above average for class/position while also bringing good athleticism to the spot. Skill set is a bit raw behind the dish but has the athleticism to improve. Creates good direction back there and threw with accuracy for the most part. Exchange skills and arm strength would be area for improvement.
