One of the top two catchers we’ve see in the 2022 class. Elite catch and throw abilities for class, once again popping under 2.0 which he has done multiple times this summer. Skill set shows in game as well, with well above average receiving/blocking abilities. Run producer bat at the plate with a compact stroke. Hands show both noticable strength and twitch through the zone. Gap to gap guy with impressive thump to the opposite field gap.

Ebbing continues to impress this summer. Once again stood out behind the dish. In a workout setting he displays quick exchange abilities and an accurate arm, popping under 2.0. In game he has obvious feel for receiving and the intangibles college coaches look for at the position. At the plate he has some thump in the bat from the right side. Not a big kid but strength and bat speed are both well above average for class. Drove the ball all over the field in BP, offering gap abilities to both sides of the field.

60-yard dash: 7.69
Pop Times: 1.96-2.11
Catcher Velocity: 72
Infield Velocity: 78
Exit Velocity: 78

Very talented prospect that stood out on both sides of the ball. Ebbing possesses advanced abilities behind the dish. A high motor type back there that can block and receive at a high level. Although he impressed with the finer points of the position his most impressive tool back there is his catch and throw abilities. Popped a 2.16 and 2.19 in game. Offensively, he hit out of the 3-hole for a very talented Flames offense. A righty swinger that starts in a taller, athletic setup. Flows through load smoothly, incorporating a leg kick for timing/energy. His loose hands allow him to create early bat speed and natural whip through the zone. Ebbing is a constant threat to drive the gaps with his strength and natural loft to swing that allows him to lift the ball with ease. In the five at bats we saw he had two doubles, a triple and a single.

5-foot-5, 130-pound right handed hitting prospect swings a quick bat with an uphill swing path. Does a nice job getting on plane with pitches and staying on them producing solid contact. Activates lower half well generating energy. Swing showed solid power as well. Recorded an exit velocity of 81 mph. The backstop for a loaded Cincy Flames team. You won’t see many players his age with his catch and throw skills behind the dish. Actions are fluid and efficient. Exchange skills are advanced leading to very impressive pop times of 1.92-2.0. Arm plays as an above average tool for class and should only get stronger as he matures.

60-yard dash: 7.76
Pop Times: 1.92-2.0
Catcher Velocity: 71
Exit Velocity: 81

Strong, athletic right-handed hitting catcher, hit in the three-hole. Offensively, simple swing, aggressive at the plate and on the base paths, positive hand-eye coordination. Squared the ball up all event, including a bases loaded triple to center field on Saturday. Defensively, traditional catcher’s arm action, short, quick, over-the-top, accurate on throws.

A righty swinger that starts in an athletic setup. Looks athletic and comfortable in the box. Initiates movement through a leg kick. Hands stay smooth prior to launch. Path is level and he gets on plane early. Bat speed and strength are both above average. An all fields hitter, that consistently produced line drives. Solid young bat. Behind the plate he starts in a higher crouch. Footwork and transfer are both well above average for his age. Impressive catch and throw skills all-around.  Looks athletic and comfortable back there. In the infield he plays with quick, direct footwork. Showed confidence to his glove inside his funnel. Glove skills are developing on the move.
