2/9/20 Position Player
Hit: Athletic setup in the box. Very smooth and on time loading sequence with a leg kick trigger. Quick hands through the zone. Bat path stays level creating natural loft.
Power: Impressive round of BP. Gap to gap skillset with the chance to provide occasional pull side power.
Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup/Table setter.
Top Rapsodo BP Exit Velocity: 90 mph.
Top Rapsodo BP Distance: 350 ft.
Field: Athleticism put on display defensively. Nothing too flashy but gets the job done. Footwork is very good and hands are soft.
Throw: Quick transfer and release through a ¾ slot. Arm might just be enough to stay at short.
Defensive Projection: Middle infield.

Body Type: 5-foot-10, 162-pound athletic frame.
Swing Mechanics: Quiet hands during leg kick timing trigger.
Hit: Feel over burst hitter that squares the baseball up frequently. Nice, easy stroke that stays compact through the zone. Sprayed it all over the field in BP.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity. Line drive swinger that will flash gap abilities.
Offensive Projection: Top of Lineup.
Run: 7.14 60-yard dash.
Field: Very sure-handed defender. Not flashy but productive with the ability to make all the plays. One of the top infielders we saw on the day.
Throw: 78 mph arm strength across the infield. Enough arm to stay at the shortstop position.Defensive Projection: SS/2B.

A left-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Nice, easy stroke on a level plane. Very impressive barrel feel with the ability to spray it to both sides. Creates natural ball flight to the gaps. More of a contact guy present but will flash agap abilities. Really liked what I saw in BP. Sprayed line drives all over the field. Very talented defender. Smooth, easy actions out there. Glove is impressive, making tough plays look easy out there. Has a chance to stay at the shortstop position at the next level. Sean’s strong summer has taken him from follow to no brainer D1 prospect.

One of, if not the top position player we saw throughout the entire event. A lefty swinger that has athletic movements throughout swing sequence. Path is compact, showing a nice/compact stroke. Laced line drives to both gaps in BP with more natural flight to his pull side. Had 4 hits in game, including 3 extra base hits. In the infield he has a skill set that plays up the middle with a chance to stay at the shortstop position. Not flashy but ball skills are advanced, making a ton of difficult plays look routine in game. A scholarship level prospect who will shoot up recruiting boards as he becomes more physical.

Stood out for his abilities with the glove. Mechanically sound across the board with soft hands and the ability to make plays out of his funnel. Can play with flash at times but never sacrifices lateral mobility or ball skills while doing so. Very solid, reliable defender. Offensively, he swings it from the left side with a short, compact stroke. More of a line drive than gap threat presently but did flash the ability to do damage to pull side.

60-yard dash: 7.22
Infield Velocity: 80
Exit Velocity: 86

A well-rounded player in the 2020 class. At the plate the lefty looks fluid and athletic, incorporating a leg kick for timing. Hands are relatively simple prior to getting the barrel through the zone on a mostly level plane. Athleticism shows in swing with both bat speed and strength being well above average tools. Registered an exit velocity of 85 mph. Showed well in the infield as well. Plays under control and looks athletic laterally. Showed the arm to play the left side of the infield as he threw across the diamond with 81 mph arm strength. Ran a 4.48 from home to first.
