Started in an athletic quiet stance with a controlled load, then used a small leg kick. Has efficient bat speed, level swing plane and high finish. Solid in the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 80 mph; has a natural exchange, sure hands, and consistent feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. Recorded a time of 7.09 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showing consistent arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle with a compact arm action. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Had slight running action. (Max spin 1935; Avg 1798). Throws a 10/4 curveball that has some action. (Max spin 1446; Avg 1373).
