Game Performance

5/22/23

2024 C Jack Lee was another standout catcher and the overall game continues to develop well with consistency on both sides of the ball. Was one of the top catchers from start to finish with pop-times of 2.12-2.15 and an accurate arm that was up to 69mph. The right-handed hitter showed the ability to find the barrel throughout batting practice with a Sweet Spot % of 83% and was looking to elevate the ball to the pullside. Had some of the better offensive metrics with a peak exit velocity of 90mph and distance of 310ft. This is one of the better performances we’ve seen from Lee who’s peaking at the right time as the season just opened here in Ontario.

12/19/21

Lee, a 5-foot-9, 175-pound catcher, continues to impress us in the box. He has a solid base and strong hands through the zone. He works a smooth, line drive swing and showed the potential to be a successful hitter at the next level. Strength is present with his 88.8 mph exit velo as a 2024 grad, and he is only going to get stronger over the next couple of years. We look forward to seeing Lee’s continued development and added strength. Lee was one of the catchers on Canada's 2021 Jr. Future Games team and should be on your list of 2024s to follow.
