Position: C/3B, athleticism and IQ will allow him to play up the line. (C,3B,LF) 

Body: 6-foot, 190-pound physical frame. Strong build, some projection remains. 

Hit: Begins in a wide stance with a tight hand load and short barrel turn. Medium leg kick, hangs the stride foot slightly. Explosive bat speed, good rotation with the lower half. Good extension on his finish, natural loft in the bat path.

Power: 97 mph exit velocity. aggressive approach. Enough juice to carry the gaps. 

Defense: Catcher, Quick footwork, sure hands, quick exchange. Projectable. Flexibility in the set-up, athletic actions behind the plate.

Arm: 77 Catcher Velocity. 2.00-2.07 pop times. Quick arm action, an-over-the-top slot. 

Speed: 6.85

Summary: Quality catching prospect with the ability to slide out to 3B or into a corner OF spot. Good defensive showing during his throw downs, accurate arm with carry. Good bend in the hips, sure hands. Nice approach at the plate, controlled aggressive aggression. Balls jump off his bat. 


5-foot-11, 180-pound solid frame, moderate projection remaining. The right-handed hitter posted an exit velocity of 90 mph (tee). Starts in a wide stance and loads the hands back into a position deep over the back foot. Has a toe tap stride and works to get on plane early. Ends his swing with extension on his finish. Good feel for the barrel with a lot of loud contact through his rounds. Gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, produced pop times of 2.02-2.15. His best recorded velocity during throw downs was clocked at 73 mph; had a quick exchange, athletic footwork and soft hands. Handles balls well inside the shoulders and was consistent receiving balls at the edges of the zone. Good bend in the hips. In the infield, made throws at velocities up to 78 mph; has smooth feet and a clean exchange. Works around the ball and tries to maintain momentum to 1st base. Had a H3Q slot and a short arm action. He clocked a time of 7.38 in the 60-yard dash
