6-foot-2, 180-pounds, athletic, lean, loose, projectable frame. Has an athletic setup behind plate, quiet hands, moves well on blocks and to bunted ball, quick transfer, short arm path, accurate with his throws at 78 mph, POP time of 1.97- 2.04. Balanced setup, loose hands, simple load into swing, handles ball away well. Top exit velocity of 85 and ran a 7.23 60 yard dash.

Herrera has the ideal athletic frame for a versatile catcher at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. He moves well and carries that fluidity into his playing movements. He put on a nice show from behind the plate, making exceptionally smooth transfers and quick releases with firm accuracy down to 2B, and staying consistent on sharp pop times ranging 1.92-2.22. At the plate he made firm contact and shot balls all around his pull side. There is a lot of room for growth in his body and it makes the swing even more interesting. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash and was up 89 mph on exity velocity.

High-waisted, athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 175-pounds, he is a long stride runner (7.16) with plenty of room to add strength in the future. The swing works with easy rhythm and loose-quick hands. We have seen him multiple times as a catcher, but after watching him take ground balls, it's not too far fetched to think he could fit in on the infield on days he doesn't catch.

Really like the way his hands work back as he strides forward, creating separation and leverage. Loose hack through the zone with lag in the barrel creates strength at contact with great extension. Transfers his weigth with authority while also maintaining balance and staying stacked. Good athlete behind the plate with soft hands and easy sway receiving. Compact exchange with a short front side, 2.15-2.27 pop times and top velocity from the crouch of 73 mph.

At 6-foot-1, 170-pounds, Herrera has an already projectable, long, lean frame. The right-handed hitter starts from a tall, slightly open stance with his toes turned in. Coils his shoulders inward as he loads his hands back and uses a low-hanging stride. Lands balanced, gets into his front side with efficient weight transfer, short path to contact with a loose finish and an exit velocity of 81 mph. Behind the dish, Herrara has a clean arm stroke and posted pop times of 2.03-2.19 with a velocity from the crouch of 73 mph.
