Brantner emerged as one of the more polished pitchers from the weekend, as the to-be sophomore worked six innings in a quality start for Impact Sports Academy Black to win their pool. Fired a fastball in the mid-to-high 70s, and paired it with a curveball and change as off-speed pitches in his arsenal. Worked efficiently on the mound while controlling hitters at the plate. Those traits allowed the right-hander to go six innings, punching out seven batters and only walking three in a win.
