Committed to Abilene Christian out of Howard JC.

2/1/15 - RHP Bryant Jordan (Home School) was clearly the best Wisconsin arm. Jordan came prepared as the righty sat at 90 mph with every fastball topping out at 91 mph. Of course this was a big opportunity for Jordan to showcase himself in front of the packed house of pro scouts as he doesn’t have a spring high school team to play with. His fastball featured late life through the hitting zone, with occasional arm side run. His curveball showed average action at 70-71 mph and a sinking change at 77-79 mph. Jordan looked effortless on the mound with an easy arm action and clean directional delivery. We’ve seen Jordan a lot over the last several years and this was the most polished we’ve seen the Missouri commit look.
3/16/14 - Missouri commit. 6-foot-2, 175-pound right handed pitcher, athletic build. Jordan has one of the quickest arms in the class, works out of a high ¾ slot, regular effort. Fastball has sink, flashed heavy feel, worked at 86-89 mph, showed control of the zone. Curveball had 12/6 shape, stayed down in the zone, 74-76 mph. Changeup had advanced arm action, fastball arm speed, showed feel for the pitch with command of the zone. Jordan is one of the top pitching prospects in the state showing the strongest arm in his class.

8/4/13 - Getting a chance to watch Bryant Jordan pitch is a treat, not only because he will light up the radar gun but he is also home schooled and does not play a high school season. He is a unique home schooled prospect (read more HERE) who hasn’t let that slow his athletic progress and shows maturity far beyond his years. Jordan was one of seven pitchers that reached the 90 mph plateau at the Midwest Future Games, showing off his exceptionally quick arm. You may think Jordan is slightly undersized in pitching prospect terms, but the 6-foot-1, 170-pound right hander has a big time arm that cannot be overlooked. Jordan’s fastball gets on hitters extremely quick in the upper 80’s with the ability to touch 90 mph. His curveball is thrown hard and with confidence boasting advanced action. Jordan has found his way onto many recruiters short list after the Midwest Future Games and will certainly find more suitors as he continues through the process.
3/3/13 - Athletic body, 6-foot-1, 170-pound two way player. Projects more on the mound, live young arm, one of the top arms in the Class of 2015. On the mound delivery shows some effort, dynamic delivery, shows acceleration with rhythm and balance. Arm action is quick, loose and free arm action, over the top arm slot. Fastball is mostly straight, occasional sink, late darting action through the zone, showed the ability to command the baseball, 84-85 mph, touched 86 mph. Changeup has plus potential, thrown with aggressive fastball arm speed, fading action, showed command (76-77 mph). Slider has downward action 70-74 mph, thrown aggressively, needs to stay behind it longer. Offensively hits from an open stance, longer leg lift stride. Works the middle of the field, consistent contact, finds the barrel. 86 mph exit velocity. Arm works well from the outfield, 87 mph, shows carry, uses crow hop.
1/27/13 - Looks to be a high-follow in a promising 2015 class in Wisconsin. Athletic, lanky 6-foot-1, 165-pound build with long legs and plenty of room to fill out. Arm strength present with more to come. Fastball topped at 84 mph, sitting 83, with hard, late arm-side life. Works from high ¾ slot with long, loose arm action. Athletic delivery, repeats well. Showed excellent hand acceleration, arm works fast. Changeup showed potential to be high-level pitch. Throws it with conviction with fastball arm action; pitch showed consistent arm-side fade. Slider has erratic action, but demonstrated occasional hard, late two-plane break in the 69-72 range.
