Future Games 2025: C Jack Spielmann (Milton) produced a strong showing on both sides of the ball during the Future Games. The left-handed hitting backstop produced a loud round of BP, producing an average EV of 92.4 mph, good enough for third among hitters on Team Wisconsin. Behind the plate, Spielmann continued to show why he has the ability to stay behind the plate long term. He is a polished defender and produced pop time ranges from 1.97-2.01 throughout his defensive showcase. At a broad-shouldered 6-foot-1, 185-pounds, Speilmann still has room for added strength that could further add to his already polished and well-rounded profile.
+ C/OF Jack Spielmann (Milton, 2027) looked as if he added considerable strength to his frame measuring in at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds which is a nine pound gain from when we last measured him in March. The nationally ranked left-handed hitting prospect started his day with a bursty and athletic 7.03 seconds 60-yard dash. During hitting, he was all over the barrel and registered the third highest max exit velocity of 99.3 mph max exit velocity. His quick hands with feel for the barrel were on display and was driving the ball through both gaps throughout the round. Behind the plate, his pop times were 1.97-2.01 seconds with quickness and accuracy to the bag. Spielman’s natural hitability is the carrying tool and the bat was on display again during yesterday’s workout.
Uncommitted, one of the top sophomores in the state’s sophomore class and in the Midwest, standing at 6-foot-1, 176 pounds with lean strength and room to add to the frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter collected two RBIs. In the first inning, he got Milton on the board early with a line-drive single to center field. He features a smooth, fluid swing with consistent barrel control. Behind the plate, he is a clean blocker with athleticism out of the crouch with clean and steady hands with a strong arm behind the dish.
+ C Jack Spielmann (Milton, 2027) showcased exactly why he is one of the top prospects in the state of Wisconsin with his performance on Sunday. The left-handed hitting backstop started off his day by running a solid 7.07 seconds 60 yard dash showing quick burst and an athletic gait. Next, during hitting, Spielmann was hitting rockets throughout his round and was making loud contact up to 99 mph exit velocities off the barrel. His powerful left-handed swing is under control and balanced and showcases the ability to consistently control the barrel during his move to and through the baseball. On defense, Spielmann was up to 80 mph from behind the plate displaying some arm strength, carry and accuracy. The sophomore was measured at 6-foot-1, 176 with a projectable frame and more room to add. There’s no wonder why this 2027 grad is a nationally ranked prospect and our staff believes he will continue to climb.

He continues to shine on a big stage after showing well at the Prep Baseball Junior Future Games as a member of Team Wisconsin back in July of 2023. Spielmann currently ranks at No. 2 in Wisconsin’s 2027 class—excelling at the catcher position with a mature arm and quality footwork. Behind the dish, Spielmann has a quick, clean transfer with good direction and balance to allow him to make accurate throws to second base. On the pitching side, Spielmann reached 83 mph with the fastball, an offering that has some tilt through the zone. The curveball has depth at 67-70 mph, while his changeup showed run at 73-75. Spielmann was one of the top all-around 2027s at the South Milwaukee event, a big name to watch this year.
Another recent PBR Junior Future Games participant, OF Jack Spielmann (Milton, 2027) was a spark plug at the top of the Hitters’ lineup, reaching base twice Friday night and coming around to score each time. Spielmann’s performance included a hard single up the middle to start the game before walking later on. Spielmann is a left-handed hitter that has a hitterish presence about him in the box. He has a quick, minimal stride and a swing that provides extension through the zone.
Batting leadoff all weekend long, Spielmann has an advanced approach at the plate, and he pairs it with a loose swing with bat-to-ball skills that produced a number of line-drive contact. Spielmann is also amongst the class's top athletes, too, causing havoc on the basepaths and roaming the outfield with utmost confidence. Behind the plate, he is a quality receiver with quick feet and an accurate arm that certainly looks the part of a well-above average backstop in the future.
PBR Junior Future Games: C/OF Jack Spielmann (Milton, 2027) put together a quality all-around performance on Tuesday, standing at a projectable 5-foot-11, 160-pound frame. Offensively, Spielmann finished with a max exit velocity of 85 mph, preparing himself for a standout week on both ends of the field.
Spielmann went 3-for-3 with a triple, double, and single and was also hit by a pitch and walked hitting in the leadoff spot from the left side in Monday’s semifinals. Showed athleticism with a shoestring catch in right field and beat out a chopper to second base in his last at-bat. Played second base as well, and was behind the plate on Sunday. Displayed strong positional versatility at all three positions.

Spielman is a wiry, athletic outfielder for Hitters Navy whose body should only improve as he gets older. At the plate, Spielman’s athleticism translates well, utilizing a short, compact swing and showed feel for the barrel as he tallied four hits in two games during the 13U PBR at The Rock Summer Championship.
