4/19/25

One of the best remaining uncommitted Senior bats, Zeller would go 1-for-4 during Indian Trail's first game on Saturday, with his singular knock coming during a two-strike count in which he incorporated a no-stride load. Presenting a balanced stock setup and higher hands, the left-handed bat continued to show loose, quick hands and above-average barrel control. Athletic 6-foot, 182-pound frame with room for added strength.

4/19/25

Zeller would go 2-for-4 with a double and singular RBI during Indian Trail's second game on Saturday. The left-handed bat continued to show aptitude at the plate with above-average barrel control and an all-fields approach. Still uncommitted, Zeller remains a high-follow senior throughout Wisconsin's prep ranks.

3/03/24

3/03/24

Zeller showcased his skills with the bat during the hitting portion of the event with an upright set up, loose hands and impressive feel to put the barrel on the ball. His ultra-simple left-handed swing consistently drove the ball from gap-to-gap and he registered an average exit velocity of 86.2 mph. Another big takeaway was the improvements he made on the infield. Moving with smooth actions and a quick first step, Zeller looked the part of a lockdown defender at the next-level, pairing it with an arm that topped at 85 mph across. While his workout was impressive, Zeller really shines in live gameplay, something our staff has become quite familiar with over the past year or so, and he is certainly one of the top uncommitted prospects inside of the Badger State.

9/23/23

INF Jack Zeller (Indian Trail, 2025) put together a very productive weekend, driving the ball up the middle while backing his bat up in the field, showing range to both sides of his glove while also possessing soft hands. Zeller had himself a couple multi-hit games and propelled himself around the bases once he reached.

9/20/23

The 6-foot-1, 165-pound athlete swings a controlled left-handed bat, and pairs it with innate bat-to-ball skills that have the ability to spray line drives to the entire field. One of the biggest takeaways from Zeller’s performance during the weekend was that he has added some more power at the plate, as he smacked a solo home run to right field on Saturday night. Zeller also manned the second base position for a majority of the weekend and there he is a sure-handed defender with athletic actions.

8/03/23

MIF Jack Zeller (Indian Trail, 2025) had a calm and collected presence to him throughout the entirety of the week, and he was another top performer for Team Wisconsin. The athletic 6-foot-1, 165-pound infielder showcased sure-handed defensive actions during the workout day and also took a clean, controlled round of BP from the left-handed box. Zeller thoroughly impressed when it came to Team Wisconsin’s three games of the week, as well and in game one he got started on a high note. In the matchup with Team Michigan, Zeller recorded a loud double to the right-center gap that brought home a run for Team Wisconsin. Then in Game Two, he followed it up with a 2-for-3 performance, which included his second double of the week, and he would also come around to score a run, too. Not only was his smooth left-handed bat impressive, he was also a sure-handed defender up-the-middle and made numerous tough plays. Zeller strung together multiple standout performances across the summer circuit, and his performance at LakePoint was just the most recent, maybe even his best.

7/26/23

PBR Future Games: INF Jack Zeller (Indian Trail, 2025) was previously a winner from the Top Prospect Games just a couple of weeks ago and he took that production into Wednesday’s workout at LakePoint. Zeller, a 6-foot-1, 165-pound infielder took a clean round of BP, swinging a smooth left-handed bat that sprayed line drives to all parts of the field. Defensively he was equally impressive as he athletically moved from side-to-side and paired it with sure-handed actions that we have seen consistently make plays in-game before. Zeller has continued to make a name for himself inside of the state’s 2025 class and Wednesday’s workout was just the start of what could be an eye-popping week for this uncommitted infield prospect.

7/11/23

Separating himself in live gameplay, MIF Jack Zeller (Indian Trail, 2025) garnered some attention from the event as a rising 2025 prospect, earning two hits at the end of the day, including a double and an RBI. While the power continues to develop at the plate for Zeller, who stands at a projectable 6-foot-1, 165-pounds, his approach as a batter allowed him to perform well in BP, showcasing a simple swing that covers the plate from the left side. Defensively, Zeller was accurate with his throws in a clean session, hitting 81 mph on the radar gun from the shortstop position. Zeller took on some older competition in gameplay and succeeded, a moment that he can build on as he emerges as a quality prospect in Wisconsin’s 2025 class.
