OF Nathan Schopf (Oak Creek, 2025) continues to impress our group with his skills and tools. The 6-foot-1, 197 pound junior had a monster day at the plate. His quick and strong hands delivered top end bat speed and top end exit velocities. His 97.6 mph max exit velocity was tied for third best at the event. Schopf shows plenty of athleticism to be in impactful outfielder and a strong arm 89 mph that shows solid carry. Schopf, yet again, impressed the Prep Baseball Wisconsin staff on Saturday and further established himself as one of the top outfield talents in the state for the class of 2025.

OF Nathan Schopf (Oak Creek, 2025) is a physical 6-foot-1, 205-pound athlete-to-know from Team Wisconsin. Schopf shined during the workout day, as he marked a sub-7.00 60-yard dash at 6.97. He would then take an aggressive round of BP, hitting his hardest ball at 99.1 mph while he also averaged 93.8 mph. In addition to that, Schopf created some noteworthy Blast metrics, too, as his average hand speed came in at 23.5 mph with an average bat speed of 76.6 mph, both of which were some of the best from the entire event. During the gameplay portion of the week, Schopf took a number of quality at-bats and during the final day he absolutely ripped an opposite field single against an upper-80s arm. Also, he was a quality defender in the outfield as well, showcasing his innate athleticism across the entirety of the outfield. Overall, it was yet another quality showing from Schopf, who fit right in with some of the top uncommitted prospects from across the country, and he is certainly someone to follow heading into his junior year.

His ability to control the bat path and barrel, a trait mentioned in prior looks, was the difference-maker in his performance on Wednesday. Schopf, at a mature 6-foot-1, 205-pound frame, generated easy power maxing out at 99.1 mph from the plate, averaging an exit velocity of 93.8 mph. The uncommitted prospect showcased the ability to lift the baseball too, driving a pitch a max 365 feet. All of the numbers were personal bests for Schopf, displaying his continued improvement as a young prep athlete. His quickness and agility in the batter’s box was previously in action during his 60-yard dash, where he sprinted a 6.97, a quality number for an outfielder. Defensively, Schopf performed well; he reached 82 mph from the left field position, making accurate throws that featured carry. The right-hander continues to show improvement in all facets of his game at the ideal time on the national stage.

First, he is a quick-twitch runner for his age and size, recording a 7.07 time in the 60-yard dash. Next, during batting practice, Schopf displayed quick hands and the ability to impact the baseball with the second highest max exit velocity of the event, 98.9 mph. Schopf’s inherent strength resulted in an 82 mph high throw home from the outfield, where he’s getting more and more comfortable defensively. This was a good look at one of the state’s top-ranked position players in its 2025 class.

Stands at 6-0, 185lbs, and looks like an up and coming catcher in the sophomore class. Running a 7.15 60 yard dash, and popped a 2.15 down to second from the crouch. In the box, Schopf produced one of the highest ball speed marks on the day (99mph), and flying distances as far as 360ft. Schopf also had the second highest hard hit% of the day (77%) while driving the baseball around the field.
