In State Commits

Noah Burke OF / Canon-McMillan, PA / 2021

6-foot, 190LBS. Primary OF and a left handed swinger. In the box utilizes a somewhat upright set up with some bend in the knees. Get hands into an elite launch position and creates barrel whip. Hits into a firm front side.

Derek Cease SS / RHP / Nanticoke Area, PA / 2021

The 5-foot-7, 150LBS MIF knows how to get the most out of the undersized frame. The futures games participant shows quality measurables, with a 6.6 60-yard dash, 93 throwing velocity, and low 90's exit velocity. Defensively moves side to side very well and fields the ball out in front. Solid footwork and soft hands. The swing has a high on plane % with hands getting to a quality load position. Quick bat and is direct to the baseball. Then can get on the mound and hit 90MPH. The more I see of Cease the more I like. Will be a fun player to watch as he develops.

Aiden Coleman LHP / OF / Tyrone, PA / 2022

The 2022 Left Handed Pitcher has a lot to like. The 5-foot-10, 155LBS frame leaves room to add strength and muscle. Already has a FB sitting in the mid 80's. Deliberately slow wind up with a controlled drive down the mound. High 3/4 arm slot that creates natural arm side run. Big, fluid arm swing.

Jake Cooper 3B / 2B / State College Area, PA / 2021

5-foot-11, 195LBS Third Baseman. Strong, thick build. Quality bat with a strong presence in the box. The set up features feet about shoulder width apart, with the back foot deliberately planted inward to create torque through the backside. Hands get into a good launch position as the barrel whips through the hitting zone. Looks to drive the baseball.

Devin Fletcher RHP / Liberty, PA / 2021

Tall, lanky build on the 6-foot-8 RHP. Very projectable frame that has room for growth. Currently features a FB running up to 89MPH. Long, whippy arm action. Extension towards the plate is over 6ft. Simple delivery that is repeatable. As strength and pitchability improves, Fletcher has the making of a quality collegiate arm.

James Lordi LHP / OF / Jim Thorpe Area, PA / 2022

2022 who is a quality mover on the mound and in the box. 6-foot, 175LBS frame. On the rubber shows a live arm that runs the FB up to 87. Strong leg lift up to the chest. Begins with hands high which starts a fluid arm swing. Consistent 3/4 slot release point. Has some power potential at the plate, quick bat and a well put together swing.

Tommy Molsky RHP / SS / Northern York, PA / 2021

Lean, wiry RHP who recently toped out at 94MPH at the MSI MLK Pro Invite. 6-foot-1, 160LBS. Whippy arm action with a release from a 3/4 slot. Very projectable. With a FB already into the mid 90's, it will be exciting to track Molsky's development over the next couple years.

Chase Renner RHP / 3B / Brandywine Heights, PA / 2021

6-foot-4, 195LBS. While somewhat still growing into his body, the throwing motion lacks connection at times. With that being said, the power potential is high. Currently shows a 92MPH FB, the arm action is quick and the frame is strong. Will be exciting to see the development once Renner gets to State College.

Lonnie White Jr. OF / 3B / Malvern Prep, PA / 2021

Arguably the best athlete of the 2021 class not just in PA, but in the nation. Former Clemson Commit, who is now signed on the play Baseball and Football at Penn State. 6-foot-3, 200LBS frame that runs a 6.6 60-yard dash. Long, strong strides down the base line and in the OF. Power potential at the plate. Has the opportunity to make an impact from day 1.

Brandon Wingenroth SS / RHP / Lancaster Catholic, PA / 2022

Lean and athletic SS measuring in at 6-foot, 165LBS. The 2022 is advanced for his age both physically and skills wise. Current swing plays to the pitch up in the zone. Keeps hands inside the baseball well. Has a great SS build. Shows solid footwork and gets himself into a position to be successful. Has tendency to field ball deep. Quick hands.

OUT OF STATE COMMITS

CJ Carmichael SS / RHP / Bloom Carroll, OH / 2022

6-foot-1, 170LBS Shortstop. The swing works. Showing a sold presence in the box and the plus pitch recognition abilities. The swing begins with a tall, narrow, and open stance. With the early load, CJ has shown high adjustability. Hand position at load allow for a high on plane % and a large margin of error in the swing. Athletic actions defensively.

Patrick DeMarco RHP / Sierra Canyon, CA / 2021

RHP out of the state of California. 6-foot-1, 200LBS. Upper 80's FB Velocity. Compact delivery and a live arm.

Ben DeMell RHP / SS / Gilmour Academy, OH / 2021

Tall Lanky RHP measuring in at 6-foot-5. There is a lot coming at you when he is on the mound. Long arms and a firm FB make for an uncomfortable at-bat. Fb currently sits in the 88-90 range topping 92MPH. Tall set up, high leg lift, and an over the top arm slot.

Tanner Folds LHP / OF / Sonoravillle, GA / 2021

Left Handed Pitcher out of Sonoraville, GA. 6-foot-2, 195LBS. Thick, muscular build. Mid 80's FB velocity. High intent delivery.

Seneca Gregory RHP / Mountain View, VA / 2021

6-foot-3 RHP out of Virginia. Projectable frame, already with some strength but has potential for more. Straight line more towards the plate with a high 3/4 release point. Tight glove side. Repeatable mechanics.

Jimmy Nugent C / 3B / Badin, OH / 2022

6-foot-2, 190LBS catcher. Big strong kid who is still growing. The 2022 grad shows solid hip mobility behind the plate and a throwing velocity of 80MPH in a showcase setting. In the box Nugent has all the pieces that project a swing that handles the demands of high velocity pitching. Early, strong load. Quality bat speed.

Kaden Saunders OF / 2B / Westerville South, OH / 2022

PENN STATE FOOTBALL COMMIT. Saunders is a good running OF out of the state of Ohio. The 2022 Grad stands in at 5-foot-10, 175LBS with an athletic frame. A primary OF and 6.66 runner.

Anthony Steele 1B / LHP / Shelton, CT / 2021

Big strong Left Handed Hitting 1B. 6-foot-3, 220LBS. Thick build. Very balanced in the box and shows some explosiveness towards the ball. Swing is a little long but quick. High exit velo's with true power potential. Also can get on the mound at sit 87-89 from the left side.

Connor Throneberry 1B / OF / Marquette , MO / 2021

6-foot-6, 225LBS 1B/Corner OF. Throneberry will be coming to State College from St. Louis. Another big bat in the 2021 class. Simple swing with some pop. Short to the ball and long through it. Strong build already and is not done developing. More muscle and strength to come.

Ty Torti SS / 2B / Pro5 Baseball Academy, NC / 2022

Efficient moving SS standing 5-foot-11. Athletic build and looks like a gamer. The current 7.1 runner would be expected to cut down on the 60 time and speed in general. The left handed swing is well put together. Balanced, wide base with a simple load and short attack to the ball. Fluid actions at SS. Has more in the tank in terms of throwing velocity.

IMPACT PBR ALUMNI

Bailey Dees RHP / 1B / Hough, NC / 2017

"Friday Guy" standing 6-foot-8 and weighting 250LBS. The North Carolina native is in his fourth year in State College and is expected to pick up where he left off during the shortened 2020 season. In 2020, Dees posted a 1.88 ERA and led the team with 5 starts. Mid 90's FB and projects as a starter at the next level.

Gavin Homer SS / 2B / Battle Creek Lakeview, MI / 2016
