Class of 2019 (M-Z)

Ben MyersBen Myers, OF/RHP, Cumberland Valley HS (PA)
6-foot-1, 165-pound uncommitted senior ran the top 60-yard dash of the day at 6.77. Previously ran a 6.62 at a PBR event in 2017. Left-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Barrel path is flat, with some length in the zone leading to hard contact to all fields in batting practice. Registered a 93 mph bat exit velocity this summer at the Western PA Top Prospect Games. Athleticism and foot speed will allow coaches to play Myers all over the outfield at the next level. 87 mph arm strength transfers to the mound where he sat 80-83 during an inning of work in game action.

Trey ObarowskiTrey Obarowski, 2B, Council Rock South HS (PA)
5-foot-9, 160-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. Displayed a handsy swing with above average feel for the barrel during a solid round of batting practice. Showed the ability to barrel the baseball to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. Carried the same swing into game action where he put together two barreled base hits. 7.52 runner is a sound defender with a quick release. Obarowski showed the ability to play through the baseball while making throws from multiple arm angles.

The right-handed hitter starts from a wide, square stance and utilizes a short, heel raise stride to initiate his swing. Showcased a short, direct swing path with a line drive approach. Registered a 79 mph bat exit velocity and showed the ability to go the other way with a barreled single to right field in game action. Payton ran a 7.12 60-yard dash and displayed a developing defensive skill set with accurate 71 mph arm strength.
