Top-10 Player Profiles: No. 6 Jason Hodges

By Andy Sroka
Staff Writer

Marist’s Jason Hodges exploded onto the national stage late in the summer with his mighty right-handed bat, which certainly helped him become No. 6 in our list of most-viewed profiles of 2018. The Arkansas commit is one of the most physically imposing figures in this class, thanks to a herculean 6-foot-3 frame, which helps him produce some of the most pop of any senior in the country. Ranked No. 3 in Illinois, Hodges has been rising way up the national rankings after strong performances in Jupiter, Fla., where he recorded eye-popping exit velocity marks.

As a junior last spring, he earned conference player of the year accolades and has only begun to tap into his inherent strength. Hodges is forcing his way into draft conversations and should be one of 2019’s busiest profiles on our site leading up to June, too.
