Three prospects managed to crack the sub-7.00 second mark in the 60 yard dash. William Pauling (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2021) led the pack with a 6.89, while Jack Lochner (Niles West, 2020) and Cecil Archbold III (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2020) were hot on his heels at 6.91.
Over half (21 out of 40) of the pitching prospects in attendance topped out at 80 mph or better. Isaiah Coupet (Homewood-Flossmoor, 2020) and Mason Burns (Normal Community, 2020) hold the category high, topping out at 86 mph.
A number of prospects showed that, despite their age, they possess present strength. Colin Lehmann (Barrington, 2020) led the event with an impressive 95 mph effort. Close behind was Brennan Fisher (Walther Christian, 2020) at 93.
Aidan Stewart (Marian Catholic, 2020) stood out among the rest for his arm strength. The lanky, athletic corner infielder was clocked at 88 mph across the infield. Another high number across the infield came from first baseman Brandon Jernigan (Huntley, 2020), coming in at 84.
Andrew Etter (Mt. Carmel, 2020) set the standard in the outfield with his 87 mph toss. The lone member of the Class of 2022 at the event finds his name on this leaderboard, Tanner Wagnon (Plainfield Central, 2022) was clocked at 82 mph.
Mike Schicker (Riverside-Brookfield, 2020) and Aaron Montgomery (Woodstock North, 2020) posted the top single pop time at 2.00 seconds. Schicker also managed to have the most consistent pop times on the leaderboard.
Should come as no surprise that many of the same names appear at the top of this leaderboard. Certainly the strong arms of Patrick Straub (Metea Valley, 2020), Schicker and Montgomery playerd a significant factor in their pop times.
