Positional Profile: LHP Athletic arm with above average stuff.
Body: 6-foot-1, 170-pounds. Lean, athletic frame.
Delivery: Delivery is athletic with tempo, lands square, closed toe landing, slight rotational through finish to third base side.
Arm Action: LH. Loose high 3/4 slot, works out of tight window, slight lunge on back side, above average arm speed.
FB: T89, 87-89 mph. Showed run to arm side.
CB: 67-69 mph. 12/6 shape, thrown with arm speed, occasional feel.
CH: 77 mph. 


Ohio State commit, currently ranked No. 27 in the Illinois’ 2020 class. 6-foot, 160-pound, live-bodied, left/left athlete. Started at DH and came out of the bullpen late in the game. Hit in the three-hole, and finished 2-for-4 with a home run. Home-run was a solo shot hit to just left of center field. Short, simple swing, present twitch. On the mound, uptempo delivery. Slight plunging on the backside, fast and lively arm from an over-the-top slot. Fastball, late life and arm-side-run sat 87-88 mph, touched 89. Both offspeed offerings flashed plus action. Curveball, advanced depth, tight spin, 12/6 to 1/7 shape, 66-71 mph. Changeup, maintains arm speed, late fade, 76 mph.


Ohio State commit. 6-foot, 160-pound left-handed pitcher, lanky build with tons of athleticism, live actions. Started and went two innings allowing four hits, four walks, three earned runs with one strikeout. Faced a Brother Rice team that had a game plan and executed, eliminated his power breaking ball and attacking his heater early in the count. Quick rocker step to a high knee balance, slight coil with sit on back side, foot strikes closed and slightly open to home, easy finish with quick leg swing over body after release. Hides the ball on back side, super loose and live, high ¾ slot with easy arm speed, arm action suggests velocity jump to come as he fills out. Fastball has slight run and sink, jumped out, pulled to his glove side and tended to miss up as the first inning dragged on, 85-87 mph, topped 89 mph. Curveball has wipeout break and bite, can spin it very well, power 12/6 shape, 68-70 mph. Didn’t show a changeup in game.

9.23.18 - Verbally committed to Ohio State.

6.6.18 - 6-foot, 160-pound, left-handed pitcher, high-waisted, athletic frame. Quick side step to sturdy, compact balance point, tall on back side, hip lead extension down the mound, closed toe landing, athletic finish out front. High front side, keeps shoulders in line, long arm action on back side, clean and super loose out front, effortless arm speed, hides the ball on back side, high ¾ slot, natural smooth rhythm involved. Three pitch mix, all maintain arm speed with feel for the strike zone. Fastball, hard downhill tilt, slight run, 85-86 mph. Curveball, 12/6 power break, swing and miss depth, 66-68 mph. Changeup, arm side run, faded off the table when down, 71-74 mph.

2.18.18 - 5-foot-10, 160-pound left/left outfielder, lanky frame, wiry build, projects. Balanced stance, reverse toe tap stride, lacks repeat, good balance. Hands are loose and aggressive, athletic hitter, creates advanced bat speed, short path. Line drive type contact, works gap to gap. 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. 7.16 runner in the 60. Defensively arm action is loose, high ¾ slot, carries well to target, plus arm strength for age, 88 mph from the outfield. Feet are highly athletic, plays with bounce through the baseball, natural actions, premium defender, centerfield profile.

6.7.17 - 5-foot-9, 155-pound left-handed hitting OF/LHP. Offensively hits from a balanced setup with a toe tap stride and good balance. Line drive hitter with fluid rhythm and an uphill swing path. 83 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.41. Defensively has fluid, athletic actions with a clean exchange. Moves well in the outfield. Short arm action from an over the top slot. Throws showed carry from the outfield at 85 mph. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short, quick arm action. Drop and drive delivery with good tempo. Fastball flashed slight running action at 76-77 mph. Curveball has 1-7 shape with occasional depth at 63-64 mph for strikes. Changeup has sinking action at 66-67 mph.
