From 10/4/23: “Big, strong build at 6-foot-3, 200-pounds. Hit in the middle of Extreme Elite’s lineup across our looks. A left-handed hitter, showed a quick bat with power. Stays short to the ball, long through the zone; was a tough out for pitchers throughout the weekend, stayed on the barrel, producing multiple hits both days. From 9/23/23:Currently ranked No. 102 in the class, Barnard especially impressed in his showing on Sunday, both behind the dish and at the plate. Defensively, Barnard looked very comfortable handling all of the duties of playing behind the dish and executed them at a high level. Barnard blocked up baseballs all game for his pitchers and was a clear vocal leader for the team, getting the entire defense back on track when needed. Kamrin Borck C / RHP / McHenry, IL / 2024

Kaeden Bowles SS / 2B / Cuba, IL / 2024

From 2/24/21: “ an upside 2024 who, at just 5-foot-10, 135-pounds showed the makings of a well above average defender on the infield. He showed signs of glove confidence and bounce on the infield that will likely grow with maturity. The same holds true with his left-handed swing. Bowles hits with fluid rhythm, athletic hands, stays level through the zone and consistently drove line-drives back up the middle of the diamond. Follow 2024 infielder as he continues to mature and add strength to his lean frame.”

An upright stance with a slight bend in the knees, consistently got a piece of every zone including barreling plenty of balls in the bottom of the zone.”

Andrew Good RHP / St Charles North, IL / 2024

From 5/6/23: “6-foot-2, 180-pound, strong, athletically-built, right-handed pitcher. Got the start on the mound and intrigued in his four innings of work where he struck out seven. Controlled, repeatable delivery, clean arm plays out of a high ¾ slot with seemingly much more in the tank. Works with ease and pace down the mound and flashed a three-pitch repertoire. Fastball plays clean out of the hand, around the zone at 84-85 mph. Held the velocity throughout his four innings. Also went to a 70-72 curveball that worked off an 11/5 plane with occasional depth and bite. Had one changeup at 79 mph, sells the pitch. Uncommitted junior arm with polish to his stuff and should see his velocity continue to tick up moving forward.”

Collin Severson OF / Sycamore , IL / 2024

From 9/26/23: “OF Collin Severson (Sycamore, 2024) is a wiry 5-foot-10, 165-pound athlete with quick twitch that showed in multiple ways in this workout. Severson ran the day’s second fastest 60 (6.78), reaching a peak speed of 20.5 mph with a 1.66 10-yard split. He showed an accurate barrel in BP, staying on it throughout his round while spraying line drives to all fields from a short, direct, and balanced right-handed swing. Severson’s speed plays naturally in the outfield - he’s a fast mover with athletic, tempo’d feet that work around the baseball, and he made a spectacular diving grab in left field during the gameplay portion of the event.”

Lewis Slade LHP / 1B / Lake Park, IL / 2024

From 6/23/23: “At 6-foot, 185-pounds, Slade was effective in his outing Friday against Top Tier South. The southpaw sat 79-82 mph on his fastball, maintaining velocity throughout with a ¾ arm slot and a balanced delivery. Also threw a sweeping breaking ball at 68-69 mph for strikes.”

Kevari Thunderbird LHP / Kenwood, IL / 2024

From 9/23/23: “LHP Kevari Thunderbird (Kenwood, 2024; Eastern Kentucky commit) looked to have one of the better breaking balls in attendance on the whole weekend. The southpaw ripped off a low-70s sweeper with sharp lateral action, thrown both for strikes and to put hitters away. Tunnels especially well off fastballs that start up and out of the zone. His fastball cruised in the 85-87 mph range with heavy arm-side run at times. Loose and projectable, should continue to add on velocity as he fills out.”

Caleb Williams 3B / RHP / South Elgin, IL / 2024

From 10/20/23: “RHP Caleb Williams (South Elgin, 2024) gave a strong look in his outing on Saturday. Listed at 5-foot-10, 185-pounds. The right-hander uses his body well throughout his delivery, loading into his back hip before firing down the mound with a drop/drive lower-half. Hides the ball well throughout his arm circle before releasing from a high ¾ slot. Williams’ fastball played in the 80-82 mph range with some life through the zone, working it to both sides of the plate. To pair off the fastball he went to a 10/4 slider at 69-71 mph, collecting some swing and miss.”

Carson Stevens C / 1B / Neuqua Valley, IL / 2025

From 8/8/23: “C/1B Carson Stevens (Neuqua Valley, 2025) impressed our staff with loud contact during his round of BP at the Northwest Suburban Open, earning an invite to this event as a result. Stevens generated loud contact consistently throughout his round, blasting his furthest ball 101.4 mph, and sending multiple out of the park, too. Behind the plate, his best pop was 2.01 with his hardest bullet being recorded at 74 mph. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound strong-framed catcher is sure to draw eyes with his strength and noticeable power.”

Gavin Triezenberg SS / 3B / Brother Rice , IL / 2025

From 7/26/23: “MIF Gavin Triezenberg (Brother Rice, 2025) is another smooth middle infielder who continued to do what we have become accustomed to seeing defensively. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound, broad-shouldered right-handed hitter took one of the easier, polished rounds of defense on the day. Triezenberg never gets sped up and played with all kinds of body control and ease while showcasing confident, soft hands and the ability to throw accurately from multiple platforms while topping at 84 mph across. Triezenberg has also cut down his 60-time considerably over the last few years, now running a 7.05 while working to both gaps in BP, registering a 93.4 mph max exit velocity and a furthest batted ball of 347’.”
