TELL US MORE...
The offseason is upon us. Tell us a little about your off-season training:
I have been dedicating my offseason to getting bigger, faster, and stronger. I lift at 5 a.m. two days a week with my high school team and three days on my own. I also get at least two days a week to get some swings in and some catching work in. Now that I have committed I want to focus on my high school team and give us the best chance at winning a state title.
Baseball is a game built on adversity & failure. How have you dealt with the the ups & downs the game brings? Who might have helped you along the way?
I have been through some serious slumps where I do not feel comfortable at all in the box and my confidence is low. The way I combat this is by going back to the basics and make everything simple. Just focus on seeing the ball and hitting the ball. My parents also help a lot because they always believe in me and pick me up when I am down.

Who is your biggest influence in the game today?
Christian Yelich is my biggest influence because I feel I am built similar to him, being tall and lanky. But I also watch his swing and try to emulate his to an extent.

Best player you ever shared the field with and why?
Best player I have shared a field with has to be one of my good friends 2019 MIF Zack Miles (North Penn/ Lehigh Commit). He has taught me so much of what is needed to succeed in this game. He took me in as a freshman and taught me a lot about hitting with power and confidence. He also taught me the work ethic needed to be a great player.

Binghamton was one of the first schools to show interest in me. They kept coming out to see me and talking to me which showed they really believed in me as a player. And once I visited, I was in awe of the campus and what they have to offer as a program. All the coaches were genuine and made me feel at home. I have never felt more sure about a decision.
