December Update to the Class of 2018 Rankings

The PBR Virginia/DC Class of 2018 rankings have been updated with 20 new faces to the now top 235 players across the Commonwealth. With this update we have a shakeup in the top five with our new No. 1.

RHP Cristian Sanchez of Centreville HS (Virginia) now takes over the top spot in our 2018 rankings. The long and lanky right-hander has showcased a quick arm with a fastball at 90-93mph and has touched 94 mph this fall. Sanchez moves up after previously being ranked No. 4 in our last update in the early fall. Also moving up one and taking over the No. 2 spot is Liberty Christian C Wesley Clarke (South Carolina). Former No. 1 prospect C Adam Hackenberg of Miller School sits in at No. 3.

Continuing his steady rise in the rankings is First Colonial talent, RHP Graham Firoved (Radford) who now moves up to No. 6

Two new faces make their way into the top ten with Gar-Field HS RHP Marty Neal coming in at No. 9 and Abingdon's big hitter IF Thomas Francisco taking over the No. 10 spot. Francisco is making a case for himself as potentially the best high school hitter in the state while Neal is a smaller framed pitcher with a big arm and power fastball in the low 90's.

Two other big movers in the top 25 include 6-foot-9 RHP Daniel Ouderkirk (West Virginia) of Spotswood HS who moves up ten spots to No. 14 and Courtland HS RHP Alex Kobersteen (George Washington), who moves into the top 20 at No. 18.

Enough talk, here is your sneak peek into the top 10.
