6-foot, 208-pounds; strong, athletic frame. Possesses a clean, uninterrupted arm path, short out of the glove and plays from a high ¾ arm slot. Moves into a drop/drive lower-half down the mound, striding in-line into a strong lead-leg block, some effort throughout the delivery. Fastball sat 89-90 mph with ride through the zone and an average spin rate of 2,246 rpm, plays at the top portion of the zone. Showed off a newly-polished breaking ball, spinning at an average of 2,397 rpm with sharp downward action, sitting in the 75-76 mph range and playing well off his fastball, landing for a strike 75% of the time. Curveball worked at 70-73 mph with short 11/5 shape, spinning at an average of 2,189 rpm, kept primarily down in the zone. The right-hander uses a firm changeup at 82-83 mph to complete his repertoire, maintaining fastball arm-speed with some arm-side fade at times. Perhaps one of Alberico’s most impressive attributes is that all four of his pitches come from almost the same arm-slot, never differentiating more than one inch from each-other.

Uncommitted, ranked No. 22 in the Illinois 2022 class. 6-foot 200-pound frame, strong right-handed pitcher; developed lower-half. Looks to be one of the top uncommitted 2022 arms in the class. Started on the mound against Lemont. Competitive demeanor on the mound, pitches off his fastball. Arm works quick and from an over-the-top arm slot. Pitched exclusively from the stretch, feet staggered, front foot closer to third-base. Athletic leg-kick in balance point, drop and drive type delivery, strides in-line with the plate. Featured a fastball that sat 88-90 mph early on, settling in at 87-89 later in the game; plays mostly straight, occasional arm-side-run, late jump through the zone at times. Curveball was thrown at 70-74 mph flashed biting 11/5 action, struggled to locate it. Changeup was 79-84 mph thrown with the same arm-speed as his fastball. Overall, one of the stronger arms in the class. Should continue to ascend if he can harness his overall repertoire.

One of the top uncommitted arms in Illinois was back on the mound after an injury kept him out for much of the summer. 6-foot, 195-pounds with well-proportioned strength throughout his frame. Worked exclusively from the stretch, delivery works on-line. Long arm action, plays loose and fast out of an over-the-top slot. Fastball was coming out of the hand easy at 87-88 mph, touching 89 with liveliness and jump through the zone; number of swing and misses up in the zone. Showed a slider at 73 mph with 10/4 shape. Inconsistent feel and action but flashed sharpness at times. High-follow 2022 uncommitted right-handed pitcher.

Hit: RHH. Relaxed, open setup, smooth load and leg-lift timing trigger. Aggressive swing, uphill bat path, works gap-to-gap.
Power: 90 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. OF - 93 mph. Long draw out of the glove, works fast and out of a high 3/4 slot. Throws were accurate with late life.
Defense: Clean actions, works through the baseball, effort through release,'
Run: 7.36 runner in the 60. 

2019 Future Games: 6-foot, 188-pound, right-handed pitcher, strong lower half, well-proportioned frame. One of the strongest arms in the Illinois’ 2022 class. Was one of two 2022 arms on Team Illinois. Simple delivery, posts into back leg, rides back hip down the mound, works on-line, lands square and will spin off on finish at times. Arm works long, clean and ultra-quick out front; high ¾ to over-the-top slot. Extremely impressive one-inning stint in the first game of the week. Worked a perfect inning with one strikeout and two flyouts. Showed advanced feel for his three-pitch mix throughout. Fastball comes out of the hand clean, four-seam life up in the zone, sat 86-88 mph. Went to the curveball in any count, high-volume of strikes, feel, 11/5 shape, tight spin, 72-74 mph. Also, showed feel for a changeup at the bottom of the zone, 75 mph.

6-foot, 188-pound right-handed pitcher, strong and athletic build. Tall at balance point, loads up on back side with tilt over rubber, high elbow, in-line to home, toe strikes square, athletic finish with rhythm throughout. Long, muscled arm action, full swing, quick arm out front, high ¾ slot, effort is regular. Fastball plays straight and firm, sat 80-83 mph. Curveball, flashed tight spin, 10/4 shape, 66-70 mph. Changeup played straight with some fade, underneath it, 74-75 mph.
