Plus bat speed and barrel awareness, excellent balance and feel for the barrel. Short compact stroke, ball jumps off the bat for size. Premium defender in the middle of the infield, soft hands and athletic arm action. 1-3, 2 RBI.

7/10/18 - University of Illinois commit. 5-foot-10, 170-pound, left-handed hitting middle infielder, solid lower half. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, lift and hang trigger, smooth load, simple approach. Short path with bat speed, loose easy hands, line drive approach that sprays to all fields, exit velocity topped 88 mph from a tee. Shows patience and plate discipline in the box. Defensively hands play soft, confident actions on the infield, plays with bounce through the baseball. Arm flashed carry, topped at 87 mph across the diamond, short over the top slot. 7.05 runner in the 60.

3.17.18 - Illinois commit. Currently ranked No. 7 in the Illinois’ 2019 class. 5-foot-10, 165 pound left-handed hitting infielder with present strength in the lower half. Offensively, athletic setup, slightly open, smooth load with leg-lift trigger. Selectively aggressive at the plate, with quick bat, loose hands and feel for the barrel. Path works uphill with natural lift. Went hitless on the day making hard contact twice in four plate appearances. Smart, heads up runner on the bases. Defensively, plays with bounce, soft hands, plays through the baseball with a smooth transfer, quick, clean arm and fluid footwork. Throws showed above average carry across the infield.

2.11.18 - Illinois commit. 5-foot-10, 165-pound, infielder with strength in his lower half. Continues to solidify himself as one of the top middle infielders in the Illinois’ class. At the plate, left-handed hitter, open, athletic setup, smooth loading action, short leg-kick timing trigger, utilizes lower half and maintains balance throughout. Loose, athletic hands, creates bat speed while controlling the barrel. Confident look in the box, natural lift in swing and consistently made hard contact to the pull-side gap. 87 mph exit velocity from a tee. Extremely confident defender on the infield, plays with bounce, active feet, ranges well to both sides while maintaining body control. Soft hands, clean, quick transfer. Short, loose, quick arm action and throws topped at 84 mph across the diamond. 7.25 runner in the 60; laser-timed.    

3.17.17 - Illinois commit. 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting shortstop. Leadoff hitter, athletic setup, slightly open. Confident approach, good plate discipline, easy barrel, middle of the field approach. A pair of hard hit barrels to center, finished 1-for-2 with a walk. Defensively has easy arm strength across the diamond, carries, short over the top. Hands are soft and confident, easy advanced defender with actions.

9.25.16 - Verbally committed to Illinois.

8/1/16- 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting shortstop. Best infielder at event. 6.97 runner. Compact setup, open stance, aggressive hitter, line drive swing plane, stays through at contact, can get long at times, good rhythm in box, 77 mph exit velocity. Reads hops well, plays through ball, above avg. actions for age, accurate arm, throws from multiple angles, 81 mph arm strength. Already receiving significant D1 interest.
