6-foot, 165-pound frame, lean and projectable. The right-hander was dominant Thursday evening, not allowing a single run over six innings of work with nine strikeouts. His fastball cruised around 82-83 mph, topping out at 85 with some life through the zone. His go-to secondary was a curveball in the low-70s with depth. Easy mover that can repeat and attack the zone.
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-0, 165-pounds.
Delivery: Stays back and over rubber well, lands front foot open, loose clean actions, should continue to add velocity.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm swing, slight pause on back side, works well out front from h3/4 slot.
FB: T83, 81-83 mph.
CB: 68-70 mph.
CH: 75-77 mph.
RHP Chase Dykstra (Fulton, 2026) was one of the more impressive underclassmen on the mound Tuesday. Dykstra displayed a three-pitch mix and a feel for the zone with each pitch. His fastball topped out at 81.2 mph with a four-seam profile. His curveball had 11/5 shape and he was able to land it for strikes. Dykstra rounded out his arsenal with a circle-change that flashed downer action in the zone.
