FR. INF Cooper Nelson (Fremd) a 6-foot, 163-pound right handed hitter had an impressive day and will be an intriguing player to watch for the Hawks. Ran the second best time of the day with a 6.36 60 time. At the plate, Nelson stands in with an upright narrow stance and uses his back leg to generate power with a gap-to-gap approach, 95.1 mph max exit velocity with a team leading average hand speed at 77.7 mph. From the infield, is a sure handed and confident defender with easy, athletic footwork working to get around the ball. The arm plays quick and easy from a high 3/4 slot (T85 mph).

Wisconsin-Parkside commit. 6-foot, 165-pound, high-waisted, athletic right-handed hitting shortstop. Above-average defender who ranges well and should stick up the middle moving forward. Body control on the move, sure-handed and arm played accurately. Hit in the two-hole. Short, flat swing at the plate, competitive overall approach. 2025 who should have his best days yet to come at the next level.
