Defensively, puts a lot into his throws on the infield. Long arm action, over-the-top slot and clocked at 84 mph. Also, ran a 7.60 60. On the mound the right-handed pitcher operates on-line and short stride. Short arm action, over-the-top window and quick arm speed. Fastball sat 80-82 mph mostly straight. 2/17/14 - 6-foot, 180-pound athletic two-way player who projects well. Defensively he plays with soft hands, fluid footwork, quick and clean exchanges. Showed solid, side-to-side range as well. Arm works loose, from a ¾ slot at 81 mph with strong carry and solid accuracy. Ran a 7.38 60. At the plate he hits from a balanced stance with a smooth load, short stride and quality balance through contact.
