The 6-foot-1, 185-pound right-hander gave an upside look on Thursday, working his fastball up to 89 mph while sitting comfortably in the upper 80s. He went to a mid 70s breaking ball that played with 11/5 shape and depth, earning a number of swings and misses.

Uncommitted. The junior went 6-for-12 (.500) at the plate with seven runs scored and three stolen bases. Against Mt. Carmel, Nagle had multiple stolen bases and helped ignite the offense in the win.
Week 1: Nagle was named the Week 1 PBR Illinois Pitcher of the Week after he threw five scoreless innings, struck out nine, allowed one hit, and walked two in the 10-0 win over No. 8 Edwardsville.

Nagle toed the rubber against a scrappy Joliet Catholic club and tossed four innings with two earned runs, three hits, six strikeouts and five walks. The right-hander works with a high leg-kick into balance point, dropping with a controlled tempo into an in-line stride. His arm plays with a short circle into a ¾ slot, creating a fastball that sat 86-88 mph, topping out at 89 mph with life through the zone. He threw his 75-76 mph breaking ball with conviction and often, playing with depth and missing barrels frequently. He also flashed a changeup at 81 mph, thrown with fastball intent and hard fading action. On-the-rise right-hander that has seen a significant jump in velocity since the summer.
