Uncommitted. Slender, projectable build standing 6-foot, 150-pounds. Started on the mound for Andrew and despite unfavorable results, still impressed with plenty of upside and a mature arsenal. The southpaw’s arm works short out of the glove into an over-the-top slot, playing clean throughout its path. Down the mound, Ugo moves quickly from balance point into a drop/drive lower-half, remaining in-line with the plate. His fastball sat in the 79-82 mph range, playing with heavy sink to the arm-side and setting up his changeup; which also displayed heavy sink off a similar plane, 74-76 mph. He also went to a short 1/7 breaking ball, thrown at 71-72 mph and flashing sharp action at times.
