LHP Jackson Ugo (Andrew, 2024) is an uncommitted southpaw with a strong-bodied 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame to pair. Ugo’s fastball played in the mid-80s, touching 87 mph, with feel up in the zone and arm-side run at times. Off that, Ugo mixed in a low-70s curveball with depth (T2302 RPM) and he faded a changeup at 75-77 mph, too.

Body: 6-1, 190-pounds. Delivery: High leg lift, tall/fall, lands in-line with home, works downhill.
Arm Action: LH. 3/4, long, loose, repeatable.
FB: T87, 83-86 mph. Arm-side run, better glove-side, plays up at top of the zone, heavy. T2316, 2110 average rpm.
CB: 72-74 mph. Quality depth, has out-pitch potential. T2302, 2036 average rpm.
CH: 75-77 mph. Fade, keeps down. T1799, 1709 average rpm.

Uncommitted. Currently ranked No. 135 in the state. The southpaw worked his fastball up to 87 mph, sitting in the 84-85 mph range with sinking action and some arm-side movement. Went to a low 70s breaking ball to pair off the fastball with 1/7 action. 

Uncommitted. Slender, projectable build standing 6-foot, 150-pounds. Started on the mound for Andrew and despite unfavorable results, still impressed with plenty of upside and a mature arsenal. The southpaw’s arm works short out of the glove into an over-the-top slot, playing clean throughout its path. Down the mound, Ugo moves quickly from balance point into a drop/drive lower-half, remaining in-line with the plate. His fastball sat in the 79-82 mph range, playing with heavy sink to the arm-side and setting up his changeup; which also displayed heavy sink off a similar plane, 74-76 mph. He also went to a short 1/7 breaking ball, thrown at 71-72 mph and flashing sharp action at times.

Delivery: Polished/repeatable delivery, low-effort, drop and drive lower-half, rotational upper-half throughout the delivery, athletic finish.
Arm Action: LH. Clean/loose high 3/4 slot, easy arm speed.
FB: T80.8, 79.1-80.3 mph. Easy out of the hand with arm-side life, thrown for strikes, plays at the top of the zone. T2150, 2049 average rpm.
CB: 65.1-66.6 mph. Gradual 2/8 shape, short action, T2181 rpm.  T2181, 2089 average rpm.
CH: 71.9-72.1 mph. Thrown with fastball arm-speed, showed arm-side fading action, kept low in the zone, kills spin. T1701, 1699 average rpm.

Positional Profile: LHP; Three-pitch mix with a quick and clean arm, creating noteworthy upside.
Body: 6-0, 150-pounds. Thin, high-waisted build.
Delivery: Tall/fall type delivery, athletic balance point, rotates well with a fluid hip turn that he rides downhill to an open-toed landing. Low-effort involved.
Arm Action: LH. Short and quick arm stroke, high 3/4 slot; clean, loose, and especially easy.
FB: T78, 76-77 mph. Generates notable arm-side action; topped -20.8 inches of horizontal break.
CB: 67-69 mph. Tighter 2/8 shape with some slurve-like traits; showed the early ability to spin and locate it. Generated good horizontal action at an above-average spin rate for his age (2,051 rpm on average).
CH: 71-71 mph. Fastball arm speed, plays with sink/run. More feel to spot it.
