Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 199 in the state. Stands in at a physical and mature 6-foot-3, 243-pounds. Batted out of the leadoff spot and played left field for the Shamrocks. Led the game off with a first-pitch single through the left side showing the barrel strength we’ve seen out of him in the past. Later in the game he sent a deep drive to left field for a long out but continued to show the ability to be on the barrel from the right side. Garcia Hernandez is a strong right-handed bat to continue to keep tabs on this spring.

Garcia Hernandez barreled one of the day’s hardest balls (103.3 mph) and his Blast Motion metrics were highly advanced as well - 26.6 mph average hand speed, 80.8 mph average bat speed.
