Xavier commit. Currently ranked No. 14 in the 2027 class. Seipp continued to show why he is one of the top bats in the state and was an absolute force at the plate against Mascoutah, tallying three home runs and driving in four. His first home run came in the third inning that drove in two, giving Triad a 4-2 lead and kickstarted a five-run third inning for Triad. His second home run came in the second, where Seipp ambushed a first-pitch, low 80s fastball that he sent pull-side over the right field fence. He capped off the day with a home run in the seventh, taking the second pitch of the at bat and sending it over the right-field wall. Overall, Seipp finished the day 3-for-4 with three home runs and four RBIs collected, playing a pivotal role offensively for the Knights.

Seipp went 5-for-10 at the plate, hitting three home runs over three games. He also recorded one double, one triple, seven RBI, six runs scored, two walks, and one stolen base.

Continued to look like one of the top left-handed hitters in the class in this look. Was all over the barrel multiple times. Stays balanced and comfortable in the box, sees the ball deep and recognizes spin. Hammered an opposite-field home run in his last at-bat. Finished 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and a run scored.

Xavier commit. Currently ranked No. 26 in the state. Strong, advanced 6-foot-4, 216-pound frame. Batted third and played first base the Knights. The left-handed hitter wasted no time making his mark on a 14-0 win, swatting a no-doubt pull-side homer in his first at-bat. He has a relaxed presence in the box, with some pre-pitch rhythm in the hands pre-pitch before working into an uphill swing paired with strong hands. He would then be pitched to differently the rest of the game, showing a patient approach by working two walks in his next two at-bats that followed. Defensively, he showed athleticism and confident hands on a diving stop at one point in the game, while showing true feel for the position from start-to-finish. Seipp has continued to get results at the varsity level, dating back to his freshman season at O’Fallon.

Staying on the topic of physical bats, C/CIF Keegan Seipp (Triad) fits that exact mold. There’s all sorts of juice in the left-handed swing with hand-speed to pair (22 mph avg.), and he showed a natural feel to lift the baseball with authority (T99 mph EV; T382’). He has a physical 6-foot-3, 211-pound frame, and he has some defensive versatility with the ability to catch and play first. GAMEPLAY: Seipp was a bit unlucky this week as he barreled up multiple balls that ended up being outs. The physical 6-foot-3, 210-pound frame really stands out, and there is big power potential in his left-handed bat. Sure-handed defender over at first base with feel for the position.

Seipp drove in half of his team’s runs as he went 1-for-3 at the plate. The left-handed hitter operates from a wide, balanced base with a small leg lift. Showcased his above average pull-side power as he connected on a three-run home run over the right field wall in the seventh inning.

Seipp continued his strong sophomore season with a 3-for-3 day at the plate. The left-handed hitter operates from a wide stance with a small leg lift. Easy swing with above average pulls-side power. His long levers allow him to connect on pitches in all parts of the zone. Strong hands with an uphill power swing. Connected on an RBI single in the first to left. Followed up with a double to left field in his second at bat. Sent a ball back up the middle for a double in his final at bat.

Seipp impressed at the plate on Monday as he went 2-for-2 while driving in two runs. The left-handed hitter operates from a wide stance with a small leg lift. Intentful swing and strong hands with an up-hill bat path. His long levers allow him to connect on pitches in all parts of the zone. Connected on a pitch up in the zone for a line drive to right field for a single. Showcased his pull-side power with a solo home run that was launched into the trees over the right field wall. Patient approach as he doesn’t mind taking a walk.

Seipp shined Tuesday afternoon as he went 2-for-3 while driving in six runs. Operates from a wide stance with leg lift. Was on the barrel all game. Showed off his raw power with a grand slam over the right-center wall in the top of the first. His long levers allowed him to connect on a ball down and away to pick up a two-run double down the third base line.

Keegan Seipp, C/1B, Triad, 2027 6-foot-3, 210-pound, broad-shouldered, physical left-handed hitting catcher/first baseman. Had his best game in game one of the day. Finished 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and a walk. One of the more impressive swings on the day was his RBI double in his third at-bat. Drove a deep towering drive to the base of the right-field wall. Easy and simple overall swing with well above-average power in the bat. Natural uphill stroke creates natural lift. Flashed a heavy barrel. Also showed well on Friday where he collected a pull-side double. Worked hard behind the plate in game one showing to be a willing and agile blocker. Arm plays short and over-the-top, true four-seam flight. Name to know in the 2027 class.

The Seipp brothers; C/1B Keegan and Kannon, both 2027s at Triad HS, continue to trend in the right direction. Keegan is a 6-foot-3, 210-pound, physical left-handed hitting catcher who worked out behind the plate and at first base. Left-handed bat is his calling card. Simple, quiet look in the box and highly repeatable swing with above-average pull-side thump off the barrel. Routinely elevated hard and loud contact to the pull-side throughout his round. T100.3 mph, averaged 88.3 during his round of BP with a max distance of 343’. Kannon continues to trim down his 60 time, now running a 7.33 and stays wide and repeatable at the plate with quick hands and controlled intent throughout. Peaked at 88.5 mph off the bat.

Entered late in the game for O’Fallon and put his stamp on the game when pitched to. Currently ranked No. 19 in the state for his class, Seipp stands in at a sturdy 6-foot, 217-pounds with some present strength throughout his frame. After walking in his first at-bat, the freshman left-handed hitter came up to bat in the bottom of the seventh in a big spot; sending an upper 80’s fastball the other way for a two RBI double to bring the Panthers within one run of the lead. Seipp has continually shown to be one of the more advanced hitters for his age in the state and Saturday was no different.

Defense: 2.19-2.25 pop times. Strong hands, works under the baseball while receiving, clean transfer, works in-line out of the chute and gains ground.

C/1B Keegan Seipp (O’Fallon, 2027) is a physical 6-foot-2, 215-pound athlete with real middle-of-the-order impact potential at the plate. He’s polished and powerful from the left side, finding the barrel often with present thump. Seipp’s average exit velocity (87.1 mph), max exit velocity (93.4 mph) and peak batted distance (340 ft.) are all above-average marks for his age.

C/1B Keegan Seipp (O’Fallon, 2027) and C/INF Shane Torres (Waubonsie Valley, 2027) are a couple prospects that showed well with the bat throughout the day. Seipp, a physical 6-foot-2, 200-pound left-handed hitter, creates impressive power off the bat from his simple load, working with an uphill path and middle of the field approach. Torres, a right-handed hitter, creates easy jump off the barrel, working with a pull-side approach and uphill path with intent to lift.

Junior Futures Games: OF Joshua Morgan and C/1B Keegan Seipp went deep. Siepp also hit a deep solo shot to right-center, some unexpected fireworks for the 13U crowd.
