Body: 6-1, 185-pounds.
Hit: LHH. Balanced setup, smooth handsy load, short stride. Strong hands/forearms, simple level path to contact, stays on top of the baseball and occasionally creates barrel leverage out front. Above-average bat strength for age, worked on the barrel.
Power: 93.3 max exit velocity, averaged 87.2 mph. 275’ max distance.
Arm: RH. OF - 88 mph. Over-the-top arm action. Showed carry, ball plays true and accurate. Athletic, quick, well above average arm.
Defense: Pre-pitch hop. Active feet. Plays under control and in rhythm. Smooth, easy outfield actions.
Run: 6.81 runner in the 60. 

OF Kevin Denty (Marian Catholic, 2023) was another name to note from Monday’s event. Built at a proportionally strong 6-foot-1, 185-pounds, Denty started his workout off by running a 6.81 in the 60-yard dash. He took an impressive round of outfield defense, while peaking at 88 mph to home on his hardest throw with true, accurate throws to his target throughout. Denty concluded an all-around impressive day by showing well in BP, staying short to contact while working on the barrel. Denty stays extremely quiet and simple with minimal wasted movement and advanced hand and bat strength through contact. Denty wore out the left-center field gap (93 mph peak exit velocity) throughout his round of BP. 

During the second day of the PBR at The Rock 16u Championships the left-handed hitter was one of the more impressive bats for Chicago Elite throughout the day. Denty has a physical, 6-foot-1, 195-pound frame and above-average bat strength. Denty consistently drove balls with authority to the middle of the field throughout the day, including a deep home run to center field.

Hit: LHH. Balanced setup, sits into backside and minimal wasted movement. Quiet, strong swing, looks to elevate the baseball and works gap-to-gap.
Power: 91.84 max exit velocity, averaged 85.54 mph. 313’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 81 mph. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot.
Defense: Corner infield/outfield profile; glove plays from the ground up and out front.
Run: 7.15 runner in the 60. 

Denty boasts a strong athletic build in the left-handed box with a confident pole-to-pole approach. He's a strong-handed hitter with above-average feel for the barrel. Denty went 3-for-3 in his first game with a double and pair of singles that he sprayed to each part of the outfield, en route to an 8-3 win. Denty kept the hot bat going in his second game, smoking a double off the centerfield wall and beating out a handcuffed ground ball to the second baseman. Denty hit out of the leadoff spot and played both left and centerfield on the day and looks to profile as a two-hole type left fielder.

Hit: LHH. Tall, balanced setup, steady leg lift timing trigger, short stride.  Simple swing, bat maintains a level plane through the zone, easy line drive contact, stays inside the baseball.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. INF - 76 mph. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot. Accurate throws.
Defense: Athletic fielding position, stays low to the ground, hands play steady out in front of body, clean exchange at times, third base profile.
Run: 7.20 runner in the 60.
