South Suburban CC commit. Zasada went 7-for-13 with two home runs, a triple, and eight RBIs. He added six runs scored and seven stolen bases, including a lead-taking home run against Evergreen Park.

South Suburban JC commit. Stands in a strong and compact 5-foot-10, 211-pound frame. Batted leadoff and started behind the plate, finishing the day 3-for-3 with three singles and two runs scored. A right-handed hitter, showed a simple swing with hands that stay direct through the zone on a mostly flat path. Showed a 1.96 pop time in between innings behind the dish. A senior to continue to monitor in Illinois.

C Parker Zasada (Reavis, 2026) is another strong right-handed hitting catcher to know from the event. The 5-foot-10, 198-pound, barrel-chested backstop creates bat speed and leverage to the pull-side with the ball jumping off the barrel at times. His furthest batted ball traveled 357’ to go along with an 85.4 mph average exit velocity, T92.4 mph. He also ran a 7.20 60 and was 79 mph from the crouch with a low pop time of 1.94.
