7/17/25
Illinois-Chicago commit. A well-built, 5-foot-10, 190-pound frame, Canvin was all over the barrel. The right-handed bat went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and two singles out of the leadoff spot. Setting up with a neutral base and small leg kick. Mature presence in the box with whole-field power, able to send an outside fastball over the right-field fence. Behind the plate, Canvin is an athletic workhorse, working well out of his stance.
11/22/24
