Another backstop to note from this look, C Carter Laubach (Lawrence Free State, 2028) put together a well-rounded showing, popping 2.05–2.18 with a 74 mph arm from the crouch and barreling his best ball at 93.3 mph. While the metrics may not immediately jump off the page, Laubach has proven he can consistently do damage against some of the best arms in the region and effectively command a talented pitching staff as well.

C Carter Laubach (Lawrence Free State, 2028) was another backstop that had a standout showing at Tuesday’s event. Packed with strength in a 5-foot-8, 185-pound frame, Laubuch showed intent to elevate and drive the ball throughout his round, posting one of the top exit velocities of the event with a 89.1 mph mark. That strength carried over to behind the plate where he generated 2.18-2.40 pop times and a top velocity of 71 mph.
