2015 All-Eastern Kansas League - 1st Team 2014 PBR Kansas Preseason All-State - First Team 2013 All-East Kansas League - Second Team 2013 Fall Kansas City Royals Scout Team
4/15/15 - Kaiser is a Vanderbilt commit and 2015 MLB draft prospect that attends Blue Valley West HS in Stilwell, KS. Shortstop and right-handed pitcher. Lean and strong 6-foot-4, 195-pound frame. At shortstop anything near him is an out. Quick feet and first step allow him to get to balls well outside the range of the average high school shortstop. Soft hands, very strong arm, throws have carry. On the mound showed a tall and fall type of delivery, very simple, balance throughout, consistent release point. Fastball 85-87 mph, 89 tops. Allowed three hits over four innings and struck out two.
4/4/18 - 6’4/200, R/R, Junior- Tall, athletic frame with room to fill out. Plus arm, threw easy with quick release and good footwork. Headsy defender with smooth actions and sure hands; has not committed an error in 115 chances this season. At the plate he showed a high leg lift and smooth hand load for timing. Landed soft while showing quick hips during his swing. Elbow stays in slot and generally does a good job of staying connected. May benefit with more weight transfer forward as he tended to hit a little off his backside. Ran a 4.40 home to first on a 5-3 groundout and a 4.32 on a 4-3 groundout. His draft value mostly depends on his performance (.274/.398/.340) as he already has the tools, athleticism and projectable body type that scouts covet.
