Delivery: Simple windup, controlled tempo. Coils well into back hip. Drop and drive delivery type. Really gets down the mound, lands with toes in line with target.
Arm Action: RH. Long, clean arm action. 3/4 slot.
FB: T89, 87-88 mph. Plays with ride. Slight arm side run. T2232, 2163 average rpm.
SL: 78-78 mph. Advanced feel for the zone. Tight spin, late break. 9/3, horizontal shape. T2301, 2288 average rpm.

RHP James Hunt (Blue Valley West, 2026) showed considerable upside on the mound this weekend in a 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame. Hunt, a top-25 prospect in Kansas’ 2026 rankings, showcased a fastball at 87-88 mph with natural run. The sophomore also flashed feel for the zone with a horizontal moving slider at 78 mph, and a changeup at 79-80 mph.
