Quality showing from the Olentangy Orange product who continues to raise his stock. Smooth, well-timed movements that come together to create balance and energy. One of the loose swings that creates natural whip with impressive tools. One of the btter rounds we saw from Team Ohio that caught the attentions of scouts in attendance. As a defender he has all the tools to be a quality defender over at first base at the collegiate level. Athletic with ball skills and feel for the position. Although he looks the part at first base you could also see him see some innings in the outfield if team needed, considering tools we just alluded to.

Lefty swinger that starts in a taller setup. Simple load followed by a nice, level stroke through the zone. Swing is easy and very loose/athletic. Expect much more to come as he fills out frame. Also looked the part at first base. Talented defender with well above average athleticism for the spot. Ball skills are ahead of the curve as well. Very fluid player on both sides of the ball.

The southpaw on the mound is a lanky, long limbed arm with a frame that can handle much more physical maturity. Lower effort delivery. Ball comes out of a high ¾ slot with deception.while hiding the ball well on the backside. Arm action is long with average arm speed. Fastball has some natural run at 64-67 mph. Better of the two offspeed offerings is the curveball at 59-61 mph. Shows a feel for the 1/7 breaker while constantly in the zone. Changeup shows occasional cut at 58-59 mph. Two-way prospect. A lefty swinger that starts in an athletic setup. Shows a slight back load with hands during leg kick for timing. Path is slightly downhill with developing speed/strength through the zone.
