Garret Baker: 1B/RHP, (2021) Mustang, OK. 6-foot-5, 265-pound mature frame. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter displayed an exit velocity of 95 mph, showing his strength and power ability. Begins in a balanced stance with a small load, then uses a controlled stride before his swing. Bat speed was explosive, displayed upward swing plane and high finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Clocked a 60 time of 8.5 at the event.

A 6-foot-5, 235-pound durable frame with broad shoulders and present strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high up, down, and out leg kick before finishing balanced. Arm action is short and quick in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm speed. Fastball shows some arm-side run, mostly strikes. Splitter shows some late dive with occasional run or cut at 69 mph. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with some late depth, some strikes at 64-65 mph. In the game, Baker punched out one of the four batters he faced.

The 6-foot-5, 235 primary first baseman demonstrated a large football-player build with an advanced lower half. The right-handed hitter begins with a tall, slightly-open stance utilizing a repeatable lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. A simple load with the hands allowed for an easy uphill barrel path through the zone creating backspin to the pull-side gap. Demonstrated a feel for the barrel recording an impressive 92 mph bat-exit velocity from the tee, in which there still appears to be more intent to be had. Registered an 8.01 60-yard dash. Displayed soft hands with give during defensive evaluations while flashing comfortability around the bag. Adequate feet created consistently accurate 76 mph arm-strength across the diamond out of a high ¾ arm-slot.

A 6-foot-5, 235-pound large and durable frame with strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from a controlled and deliberate delivery with a high leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing slightly to the first base side. Arm action is fluid in the back with moderate length before getting short and coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball sits  78-80 with some arm-side run and some deception, nearly all strikes. Splitter shows cut and sink with occasional late and heavy darting action. In the game, Baker struck out all four batters he faced.

A 6-foot-5, 235-pound sturdy frame; 1B/RHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 85 mph, but showed much more pop than that in BP, leaving the yard twice with a middle to pull side approach, mostly barrels. Began in an open stance with a smooth load, then used a short stride to start his swing. Displays a flat swing plane, quick bat speed and good extension on his finish. . While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 71 mph; had firm hands and developing feet. Had a long arm action and a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 8.57.

A physically impressive 6-foot-5, 235-pound frame with strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with some rhythm and a moderate leg kick before striding controlled down the mound. Arm action has moderate length in the back before coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball sits 75-77 mph, four seam keeps its plane while two seam shows consistent arm-side run, mostly strikes with both. Curveball shows 12/6 shape with some gradual depth for strikes at 67-68 mph. Knuckleball is developing at 62 mph.

A 6-foot-5, 235-pound physical frame, hits from a wide, slightly open stance with heavy gather on the back side, using a simple movement to load. Flashes some explosive movements at time, strength in the swing, drove the ball with some lift. Smooth simple gather to load the hands, under strides at times finishing on heals and upright. Has more length in frame and swing to generate more stretch, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 8.10 60. Defensively, deliberate pace to field and throw, long reach and stretch. Pace of feet and transfer can quicken. On throws, shows longer arm stroke coming from lower arm slot with arm side sink to the bag at 74 mph.

A physically impressive 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame with some strength. On the mound, the right-hander works only from a closed off stretch set-up with average tempo and moderate leg kick before gliding down the mound. Arm action has moderate length in the back with a slight wrist hook and a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through a ¾ slot. Fastball shows consistent arm-side run at 77-78 mph. Splitter has tumbling action with consistent late depth, has a chance to be a plus pitch in the future, 68-72 mph. Slider has 10/4 shape with gradual break and some depth, 69-71 mph. Changeup keeps its plane and is thrown with near fastball arm speed, 68-70 mph.

A physically impressive 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide, open, and back leg heavy set-up with slight rhythm in his hands. Uses a smooth load and moderate stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with some bat speed and strength. In BP, shows a middle to opposite field approach with some lift, mostly barrels, 80 mph exit velo. Runs an 8 second 60. Defensively, at first base, shows deliberate feet and hands when fielding with quick footwork towards second to complete the play. Throws with a long arm stroke coming through a 3/4 slot with arm strength, 79 mph across the diamond.
