Ariss exhibited good swings to the pull side and solid barrels to the opposite field. The VCU commit is a projectable player who already has major tools that will translate well at the college level. His swing has a clean approach with his hands often getting above the barrel allowing for good leverage on the ball. The bat path looked smooth and easy resulting in a solid swing path each time.

7th ranked 2022, 6-foot-1, 160-pounds, two-way guy with upside on both ends. Left-handed stroke that works with bat control and whip, bat path is smooth, showing a good ability to get on plane and work underneath the ball. His bat has come a long way. In the infield, his actions are still developing. His arm works with quickness and velo, and projects to meet the throwing requirements needed for the left side of the infield. Ariss was up to 83 in the infield, and 87 in the outfield, where he looked real comfortable. He didn't pitch on this day, but there's a lot to like on the mound as well.

Ariss is a smooth fielding, left-handed hitting infielder who will also jump on the mound with clean actions and feel for the mound. The body is long, wiry, and projects to carry more size and strength as he matures. He’s comfortable and relaxed at the plate with level stroke and hands that work well to the ball. Body control at the plate and the infield, the glove plays and funnels balls with ease, maintaining rhythm and loose arm allows him to throw from multiple slots with carry across the diamond. Big upside guy who projects well with his tools and the frame moving forward.

2022 grad, athletic, 5-foot-11, 140-pounds, long legs, slim frame, lots of strength to be added. Improving actions in the infield, decent footwork when in position, glove actions work both ways, 80 mph arm strength across. At the plate, low starting slot, hands come to a stop, comes towards the ball with bat speed, consistent flat path, line-drive approach, often inside outs the ball, with strength addition he will have a solid foundation to work with and allow his force to be generated with less effort. He has the makings of being a solid hitter down the road. Extensive drop and dive delivery on the mound, high ¾ release, lands in-line, feel for changeup, developing curveball, sits in the 74-76 mph range, with development could be a quality arm. Bright future on both ends, chance to be one of the stronger players in the 2022 class, will be a two-way player for a while.
