Physical: A lean and projectable 6-foot-1, 170-pound with some physicality.
Offensively: Balanced and athletic stance with a base slightly wider than shoulder width apart. Uses a lift and replace leg lift to initiate his swing. With a 73mph bat speed via Blast Motion, he demonstrates above average bat speed. Bat is flat and direct to the baseball and finishes on an uphill plane.
Defensively: One of the more impressive catching rounds at the entire PA state games, Natili showcased a strong 77 mph arm from behind the dish and popped a 1.88-1.95 thanks to a quick transfer and advanced footwork coming out of the crouch.
Pitching: Starts on the middle of the rubber and gets into his leg lift quickly and strides at home plate. Uses a quick take back and a high ¾ arm slot with a whippy arm action. Could generate more velocity by using his lower half more instead of relying on his quick arm.
Fastball: 83 mph peak velo via Trackman, plays up well in the zone with some life.
Curveball: 70-71 mph with 11-5 shape
Demonstrated a long and lean 6-foot, 160-pound frame with present athleticism and strength in his actions and room to fill out as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a leg-hang to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Showcased fluidity in a short stroke with natural hand speed and pull-side lift allowing for an 86 mph bat-exit velocity during batting practice. Displayed advanced barrel control with strength in the lower-half, evidenced by hitting into a stiff front side. The primary backstop showed off quality receiving skills with minimal glove hand movement at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 1.97-2.01 on accurate throws of 77 mph out of a high ¾ arm-slot from the crouch. Featured advanced straight line footwork with fluid, quick transfers allowing for repeatable, impressive pops on the bag. Flashed athleticism while blocking on either side of the plate beating the ball to the spot creating soft walls and downward chest angles with recovery ability. The right-handed pitcher sat 82-85 mph out of a whippy high ¾ arm-slot with fluidity in the arm-swing. Mixed in a 70-73 mph curveball with 11/5 shape, playing with depth in the zone.
5-foot-8, 140-pound right-handed hitter starts from a wide, square stance and initiates his swing with a short leg-hang stride. Displayed balance throughout with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 77 mph and ran an 8.21 60-yard dash. Showcased improved pop times of 2.14-2.20 on throws of 66 mph from the crouch.
5-foot-3, 110-pound right-handed hitter starts from a wide, open stance and utilizes a leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Displayed an aggressive approach at the plate with a feel for the barrel and a bat exit velocity of 74 mph. Quiet receiver flashed a quick, clean transition and solid footwork on throws of 62 mph from the crouch while registering pop times of 2.24-2.33.
5-foot-2, 105-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-hang stride. Showcased above average feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 66 mph. Ran an 8.97 60-yard dash and flashed pop times of 2.40-2.49 on throws of 60 mph from the crouch. Solid all-around skill set will continue to develop through physical maturity and strength gains.
